Come on hear my song
It’s written in my eyes
In red and black
I got steel that’s on my bones
A thousand times that I found in healing
You see me now at a whisky bar
I’ve got a fever ‘cause you hold me tight
Keep your eyes shut, it’s in my hand
I’ve got mercy
Mercy on me !
We’ve got mercy
Mercy on me !
I’ve got mercy
Mercy on me !
We’ve got mercy
Mercy on me !
Well, I’m sitting now,
Here in my broken chair
My baby child in arms and all my dime
The dirty steel is from my own
Come on, hear
The crime is satisfied
You see me now at a whisky bar
Drinking for real to my dreamy life
I’ve got a fever ‘cause you hold me tight
Keep your eyes shut, it’s in my hand
I’ve got mercy
Mercy on me !
We’ve got mercy
Mercy on me !
I’ve got mercy
Mercy on me !
We’ve got mercy
Mercy on me !
You see me now at a whisky bar
Drinking for real to my dreamy life
I’ve got a fever ‘cause you hold me tight
Keep your eyes shut, it’s in my hand
You see me now at a whisky bar
Drinking for real to my dreamy life
I’ve got a fever ‘cause you hold me tight
Keep your eyes shut, it’s in my hand
