mitä minä sanon
niin sinulla ei ole hätää
Nuo linnut
näkevät ajatusten sisään
Salainen silmä
Nämä houreet
on tallennettu järjestelmään
Maasta versoo muureja
muureista myrkkypensaita
piikit särkyvää lasia
uusi teknokratia
Mestarin kynsi piirtää kuvia
nuorella verellä
kuvat syöpyvät aivojen pintaan
polttavana sienirihmastona
The lyrics to "Uusi Teknokratia" by Oranssi Pazuzu are in Finnish and can be roughly translated as follows:
Listen,
to what I say
so you won't have to worry
Those birds
see into our thoughts
A secret eye
reads our dreams like a book
These delusions
are recorded in the system
Walls sprout from the earth
toxic bushes from the walls
spikes of shattered glass
a new technocracy
The master's claw draws pictures
with youthful blood
the images etch into the surface of the brain
like burning mycelium
This song delves into themes of technology, control, and the invasive nature of surveillance. The opening lines suggest that the singer has a message to share, assuring the listener that they have nothing to fear. However, it quickly becomes apparent that the singer believes that our thoughts are not private, as the birds can see deep into them. This notion of a "secret eye" that reads our dreams implies a sense of constant observation and intrusion.
In the following lines, the lyrics take on a more dystopian tone. The "houreet" (delusions or hallucinations) are described as being recorded in a system, suggesting that our perceived realities are being manipulated or controlled in some way. The imagery of walls sprouting from the earth and toxic bushes growing from these walls evokes a sense of confinement and danger. The shattered glass and spikes further emphasize a menacing and oppressive environment.
The later lines introduce the idea of a master or a leader who creates images or symbols using the blood of the young. These images have a lasting impact on the surface of the brain, like a burning mycelium. This could be interpreted as a critique of power structures that exploit and manipulate the youth for their own gain, leaving lasting consequences on their mental and emotional well-being.
Overall, "Uusi Teknokratia" paints a dark and unsettling picture of a society under pervasive surveillance, control, and manipulation.

The video fits better if you understand the lyrics, so here's a translation:
Listen to what I say
and you won't be troubled
These birds
can see into thoughts
The secret eye
reads our dreams like a book
These visions
have been saved in the system
From the ground leaf out walls
From the walls poisonous shrubs
Their thorns splintering glass
A new technocracy
The master's nail paints pictures
with young blood
The pictures eat into the surface of the brain
as burning mycelium
