P.I.F. have realesed four studio albums up-to-date: P.I.F. (2000), P.I.F. - Pictures In Frames (2001), P.I.F. - Passion In Fact (2006) and P.I.F.4 (2013).
History:
The band was established in 1992 in the town of Varna, Bulgaria under the name "Resemblance". At that time Dimo and Ivan were highly influenced by the "Seattle Sound" (also known as "grunge") and were determined to incorporate that style into their music. During that first stage of their carrier they recorded over 40 demo songs, all in English.
In 1999 they changed their name to P.I.F. (an abbreviation for Patriots In Fashion) and moved to the capital of Bulgaria, Sofia, where they recorded their first, self-titled, album. It consists of 13 tracks, composed by Dimo and Ivan, and was highly critically acclaimed, and moderately commersially successful. Three of the album's songs were also made into musical videos, those being "Приказка"(Fairytale), "Вали"(It's Raining) and "Сам"(Alone).
In 2001 they finished their second album, "Pictures In Frames", which also contained some great songs, and was equally well accepted. The song "Отлъчен"(Banished) from that album also spawned a music video.
In 2005 the band suffered some lineup changes, some of it's members were replaced due to personal reasons and creative differences. After the last change was made with the acceptance of the drummer Atanas Kasabov into the band, they set out on creating their last album, "Passion In Fact", which was released in 2006 incorporates a slightly more electronic sound. It can be downloaded, free of charge, from their official web page (see contacts section).
Live Performances:
P.I.F. is a band which emphasizes on live performances and has done numerous shows throughout the years, mainly in Sofia, Varna, Plovdiv and occasionally in other bigger Bulgarian towns.
In December 2005, however, they made a successful tour around Europe, going through Germany and France, as well as England.
Awards:
Their first album, P.I.F., won an "Album of the year" award on the Annual Music Awards in 2001. Other successes of the band during that period were their nominations for the "Tangra" Radio Music Awards, where they were nominated in four categories, as well as their nomination in the "Forte" National Television music awards. During the same year they also won the "Audience Favourite" award at Bourgas' "Rock Explosion" festival with their hit single "Невидимо Дете" (translated "Invisible Child").

Messiah
P.I.F. Lyrics
Jump to: Overall Meaning ↴ Line by Line Meaning ↴
I need to, I need to, I need to know
I need to know (Who’s the Messiah?)
I need to know, I need to know
I need to, I need to, I need to know
I need to know (Tell ‘em what His name is)
Jesus
Jesus
Jesus
Jesus
Jesus (Tell ‘em what his name is)
King of kings, Adonai
Lord of lords, the Most High
Wonderful Counselor, Son of Man
Alpha Omega, the Great I Am
What manner of man could chop it up with them sinners
And them down trodden and low rated, and make ‘em feel like winners
What manner of man could keep the party going on
When He turned that bottle of Evian to Dom Perignon
What manner of man has authority over demons when He casted them out
Them spirits leaving and they screaming
What manner of man wasn’t worried ‘bout them haters
In Luke chapter four verse thirty He was like bye see you later
He stepped out on the boat, peace be still
Wind and waves had to obey and be still
The Homie walked on water He was so chill
Many have claimed to be God but He’s the real deal
I need to know, I need to know
I need to, I need to, I need to know
I need to know (Who’s the Messiah?)
I need to know, I need to know
I need to, I need to, I need to know
I need to know (Tell ‘em what His name is)
Jesus
Jesus
Jesus (Tell ‘em what his name is)
Jesus
Jesus
Jesus (Tell ‘em what his name is)
King of kings, Adonai
Lord of lords, the Most High
Wonderful Counselor, Son of Man
Alpha Omega, the Great I Am
Messiah Messiah Messiah Messiah Messiah up to somethin’
Messiah Messiah Messiah Messiah didn’t die for nothin’
He was wounded pierced, died on the cross for my sins
Pharisees and Sadducees laughing they thought it was the end
But they forgot about the promise Jesus had made to them
Popped out the grave in thee days like I win
In case you were doubting that Jesus Christ is Messiah
Let me go ahead and put you on that prophecy
The prophet Isaiah wrote about Him in chapter seven
The virgin birth was the mentioned in verse fourteen
This is about seven hundred years before His birth
Let me put you on another prophecy Imma mention
Psalms chapter twenty two man I hope you read it
This talks about our Lord Jesus Christ’s crucifixion
There’s over one hundred prophecies that He fulfilled
All written over five hundred years before He lived
More than enough to prove Jesus Christ is Messiah
That’s why I believe and I lift His name higher
Jesus
Jesus
Jesus (Tell ‘em what his name is)
Jesus
Jesus
Jesus (Tell ‘em what his name is)
King of kings, Adonai
Lord of lords, the Most High
Wonderful Counselor, Son of Man
Alpha Omega, the Great I Am
I need to know, I need to know
I need to, I need to, I need to know
I need to know (Who’s the Messiah?)
I need to know, I need to know
I need to, I need to, I need to know
I need to know (Tell ‘em what His name is)
The lyrics to P.I.F.'s song "Messiah" are a testament to the belief in Jesus Christ as the savior and messiah. The repeated line "I need to know" expresses the urgency and importance of knowing the true identity of Jesus as the messiah. The song goes on to list various titles and attributes of Jesus, such as "King of kings, Adonai" and "Wonderful Counselor, Son of Man," while also highlighting his remarkable deeds, such as turning water into wine, casting out demons, and walking on water. The lyrics also reference biblical prophecies, including Isaiah's prediction of the virgin birth and Psalm 22's portrayal of the crucifixion, as evidence of Jesus' identity as the messiah. Ultimately, the song is a celebration of the power, love, and grace of Jesus.
