5-piece Post-Hardcore/Pop band from Essex, United Kingdom.
They were formed in 2009 after the demise of a previous band, and another member leaving his band. The lineup were originally formed as a 4-piece with Vocal roles being filled by the guitarist and the bassist. The band later introduced a synth player into the mix, and now the band are complete.
The bands name derives from the Star Wars character, "Princess Padmé" and a lot of the band songs derive from movie quotes and trivia. The songs are not Star Wars themed however.
The band are set to record an EP in December, and are looking to start playing a lot of shows from September onwards.

The song "TTNET" by Padme follows the story of a broken promise, where the singer trusted someone and gave them a chance, only to be let down. The lyrics express the frustration and disappointment of the singer who trusted the person, in this case, TTNET, to deliver on their promises, but they failed to do so. The lines "Cok gordun bizi kendine, acmadin hicbir seyi bize" speak to the idea that despite giving everything to TTNET, they did not reciprocate or fulfill their part of the deal. The stanza "Anladik ki cok buyuk yalansin, bizi hic ama hic baglamazsin" indicates that the singer understands that they were lied to and that TTNET does not care about them at all.
