Agáty
Peter Nagy Lyrics
Jump to: Overall Meaning ↴ Line by Line Meaning ↴
agáty, agáty.
Raz z našich tiel snáď vyrastie
Haj s agátmi, s agátmi.
Možno cítiš ako čas
sa nás vôbec nepýta.
Prečo my sa pytame
čo mi patrí aspoň
na tu malú chvíľu vziať.
Bozkávaj ma dnes práve tu
pod agátmi, agátmi .
Ruky koreňou držia sa pod zemou
jak agáty, agáty.
Možno ...
Raz všetko zarastie vôňou naších tiel
A agátmi, agatmi.
Raz budu z nás v zahrade rásť
agáty, agáty.
The song "Agáty" by Peter Nagy is a melancholic reflection on the transience of life and the power of nature. The lyrics speak of the inevitability of change and the fleetingness of our time on earth. The recurring imagery of agáty, or lilacs, suggests both the beauty and fragility of life.
The first verse contemplates a future where agáty will grow in the garden that our bodies will become. This poetic metaphor suggests that even in death, we are still part of the cycle of nature. The second verse encourages us to live in the present moment, to cherish what we have, and to appreciate the small things in life, like a kiss under the agáty. The final verse brings the song full circle, suggesting that someday the scent of our bodies will mix with the scent of the agáty, and we will become one with nature.
Overall, the lyrics to "Agáty" are a poignant reminder of the transient nature of life and the inevitability of change. They encourage us to live in the moment and appreciate the small beauties of life before they pass us by.
