The Dead Care Center
Phantasm Lyrics

No one seems to care how they've died
There thrown into caskets and cremated to ash
But now you'll see the way that they'll be
There's someone who cares about the dead
He walks so tall with eyes so red
He'll rob the graves and mend the bodies
He pump the fluid into their veins
Evil source is all that remains
The bodies now shrunken and filled with demise
Again they live reborn to rise
They follow his order to crush the living
Bring back the death new life he's giving
Adsorbed by death now nothing they fear
Your time will come it's so near
Ground is broken bodies gone
To their savior work is done
Now their life starts again
Corrupt the world filled with sin
Half the world is now dead
Soon to become a world of dread
The word is out people scared
They now fight back the ones who cared
The war is on the bash of blood
Slaughter to slaughter they both stand strong
Parts of bodies lay on the ground
But the dead now gone no where around
There's someone who cares about the dead
He walks so tall with eyes so red
He'll rob the graves and mend the bodies
Perfect their form prepared to storm
The song "The Dead Care Center" by Phantasm opens with a haunting image of bodies stacked upon bodies in a place where no one seems to care about how they died. They are thrown into caskets and cremated, but there is someone who cares about the dead in this place, and he is introduced as a tall figure with red eyes. He robs graves and mends bodies, pumping fluid into their veins to give them new life. The bodies are reborn to rise and follow his orders to crush the living.
As the bodies are brought back to life, the world becomes corrupt and filled with sin. Half the world is now dead, and the living are scared. A war breaks out between the living and the dead, with both sides standing strong and slaughtering each other. However, in the end, the dead are gone and the world is left in a state of dread.
The lyrics of this song paint a grim picture of a world where death is not the end, but rather a beginning of a new, corrupt life. The figure who cares for the dead is portrayed as evil, using his power over death to create an army of the living dead. The song explores themes of life, death, and corruption, painting a picture of a world where death is not always final.
