As I look back on what I thought was living
Reflecting on my past, I realize how misguided my life was

I'm amazed at the price I choose to pay
I am surprised I was willing to pay so much for something so meaningless

And to think I ignored what really mattered

I've never felt so much alive
I have never felt more alive than I do now, surrendered fully to Christ.

For I am crucified with Christ and yet I live
I have died to myself and my old way of living, but through Christ, I am alive and transformed

Not I but Christ that lives within me
My life is now fully centered on Christ and His love for me

His Cross will never ask for more than I can give
God's love and sacrifice on the cross will never demand more from me than I am capable of giving

For its not my strength but His
It is through Christ's strength and power in me that I can live a meaningful life

There is no greater sacrifice than the love of Jesus Christ

As I hear the Savior call for daily dying
As I listen to Jesus calling me to live for Him each day, I am willing to daily die to myself

I will bow beneath the weight of Calvary
I will humbly surrender myself to the sacrifice of Christ

Let my hands surrender to His piercing purpose
I will let go of control and submit myself to God's purpose for my life

That holds me to the cross but sets me free
While Jesus' sacrifice on the cross holds me accountable, it also sets me free to live for Him

I will glory in the power of the cross
I will celebrate and find my strength in the power of Christ's sacrifice on the cross

The things I thought were gain I count as loss
The things I once valued in life are now meaningless compared to the joy of knowing Christ

And with His suffering I identify
I can relate to Christ's suffering and find comfort in knowing He can relate to mine

And by His resurrection power I am alive
Just as Christ rose from the dead, His power in me gives me new life and hope

And I will offer all I have
I will give my all to Christ, holding nothing back

So that His cross is not in vain
So that the sacrifice of Christ on the cross is not wasted in my life

For I found to live is Christ
I have discovered true life and purpose in living for Christ

And to die is truly gain
It is only in death to my old self that I can fully gain new life in Christ and experience true joy.
