The band was originally composed of the siblings Sole and Juan Luis Giménez, and their friend Pablo Gomez. In the same year 1983, they won a radio contest and their first recording, Danzad, Danzad Malditos, appeared one year later under the RCA label. But the record company forced them to write more commercial songs outside their style, and they left in 1986 to work with an independent label, Discos Intermitentes. Pablo Gomez left the group and Javier Vela arrived to replace him. Later, Nacho Maño replaced Vela.
In 2006 they decided to split ways after Sole Giménez announced her solo carreer. Later in 2008, they included a new voice -Lydia- and made a re-appearance with a new album of original songs called "Sera".
De Puntillas
Presuntos Implicados Lyrics
Jump to: Overall Meaning ↴ Line by Line Meaning ↴
de espuma y agua clara
hagámoslo tú y yo
entre la madrugada.
Y de puntillas pasará
y vendrá a mí
a enredarse en mis enaguas
Hagámoslo de pan,
de trigo y de manzanas
tan delgado como tú,
criatura de mis nanas.
Y de puntillas pasará
a dormir aquí,
entre mimos y nostalgia
¡Cuánta belleza ha de dedicarnos, sí!
Hagamos un milagro
en el hueco de mis manos,
con la miel de tu ser.
Hagámoslo pequeño
con tus ojos y mi pelo
y el amor a sus pies.
Y de puntillas pasará
a vivir aquí
rodeado de ternura
¡Cuánta belleza hemos de darle tú y yo!
The lyrics of Presuntos Implicados's song "De Puntillas" describe a tender and intimate moment shared between two people, where they suggest creating something beautiful, using the metaphor of making something out of the sea, bread, and even a "miracle" between their hands. The idea of doing something "on tiptoe" or "De Puntillas" carries a sense of delicacy and intention behind the act. The song's imagery suggests that what they're creating is something precious and ephemeral, like a moment that they want to hold onto and cherish.
The first stanza of the song talks about creating something out of the sea, using words like "mar", "espuma" (foam), and "agua clara" (clear water). These elements evoke a sense of purity and tranquility, as if they're trying to capture a peaceful moment in time. The second stanza moves on to a different metaphor, this time using bread and apples, symbolizing something simple yet flavorful. The emphasis is on creating something small and delicate, like a baby or a new life. The third stanza talks about creating a miracle between their hands, using the "miel de tu ser" (the honey of your being), representing the sweetness of their love.
Overall, the song's lyrics are poetic and heartfelt, creating a feeling of warmth and connection between two people. The images used are vivid and beautiful, reflecting the desire to create something meaningful out of nothing.
