Williams has received a record 18 Brit Awards, winning Best British Male Artist four times, Outstanding Contribution to Music twice, an Icon Award for his lasting impact on British culture, eight German ECHO Awards, and three MTV European Music Awards. In 2004, he was inducted into the UK Music Hall of Fame after being voted the Greatest Artist of the 1990s. According to the British Phonographic Industry (BPI), he has been certified for 20.2 million albums and 8.66 million singles in the UK as a solo artist. Five of his albums have also topped the Australian albums chart, and has sold 75 million records worldwide, making him one of the best-selling music artists of all time. He also topped the 2000–2010 UK airplay chart. His three concerts at Knebworth in 2003 drew over 375,000 people, the UK's biggest music event to that point. In 2014, he was awarded the freedom of his hometown of Stoke-on-Trent and had a tourist trail created and streets named in his honour. Williams' thirteenth album, XXV was released on 9 September 2022.
After 15 years, Williams rejoined Take That in 2010 to co-write and perform lead vocals on their album Progress, which became the second-fastest-selling album in UK chart history and the fastest-selling record of the century at the time. The subsequent stadium tour, which featured seven songs from Williams' solo career, became the biggest-selling concert in UK history when it sold 1.34 million tickets in less than 24 hours. In 2011, Take That frontman Gary Barlow confirmed that Williams had left the band for a second time to focus on his solo career, although he stated that the departure was amicable and that Williams was welcome to rejoin Take That in the future. Williams has since performed with Take That on three separate television appearances, and collaborated with Barlow on a number of projects such as the West End musical The Band.
Motherfucker

I think it's time you knew the score
Why you feel weird
One day you're gonna be told about
How daddy let his demons out
Yeah, he made them scream and shout
You'll go out on your own and stuff
If you start losing hold of love, it's because
Your uncle sells drugs
Your cousin is a cutter
Your grandma is a fluffer
Your granddad's in the gutter
Your mother is a nutter
Your mother is a nutter
We are mad motherfuckers
Sure, you're a bad motherfucker
And I'd like to sing a song that says that you'll be fine
But now you know me, so you know that I'd be lying
One of the things you get from me and your mother
Is that we're bad motherfuckers, sure, you're a bad motherfucker
Helps to know where you come from
When days are hard, and things go wrong
I pray our weakness makes you strong
Well, strangers come and lovers leave
You can rest assured we'll always be
Your ever-loving family
So before you leave when you're old enough
When you go out on your own and stuff
You start losing hold of love, it's because
Your uncle sells drugs
Your cousin is a cutter
Your grandma is a fluffer
Your granddad's in the gutter
Your mother is a nutter
Your mother is a nutter
We are mad motherfuckers
Sure, you're a bad motherfucker
And I'd like to sing a song that says that you'll be fine
But now you know me so you know that I'd be lying
One of the things you get from me and your mother
Is that we're bad motherfuckers, sure, you're a bad motherfucker
We all believe, that you're gonna break the chain
We all believe, that you're the one
We all believe, that the angels are watching over you, my son
Because
Your uncle sells drugs
Your cousin is a cutter
Your grandma is a fluffer
Your granddad's in the gutter
Your mother is a nutter
Your mother is a nutter
We are mad motherfuckers
Sure, you're a bad motherfucker
And I'd like to sing a song that says that you'll be fine
Now you know me so you know that I'd be lying
One of the things you get from me and your mother
Is that we're bad motherfuckers, sure, you're a bad motherfucker
Your uncle sells drugs

The song "Motherfucker" by Robbie Williams is an emotional ballad that speaks deeply about the struggles and hardships of his family. The song begins with a sense of impending doom and ominousness, as Williams sings about how "one day you're gonna be told about how daddy let his demons out, yeah, he made them scream and shout." He then warns that "one day soon you'll be old enough, you'll go out on your own and stuff, if you start losing hold of love, it's because your uncle sells drugs, your cousin is a cutter, your grandma is a fluffer, your granddad's in the gutter, your mother is a nutter."
The chorus repeats the same lines again and again, emphasizing the message that despite all of these difficulties and struggles, the family is still together and will always love their son. The song speaks honestly about the difficulties of life, but ultimately gives an optimistic and encouraging message.

Hi Robbie. It's 6:44 AM in North Carolina. Had a wonderful time staying up all night listening to you. I'll do it again. Might as well make insomnia fun. No tossing and turning, just a little head banging 👩🦳🧝♀️🛸

This stands with 'Come Undone' as my fave Robbie track. Of that track a critic said Robbie said in one song what took Kurt Cobain to say in an album. Who would have thought Robbie would be making such classics when he got fired from Take That? I love loads of his songs and on this this album every track is great. Some people I know are too "cool" for Robbie - what's cooler than this I would like to know. Oh and love Bodies an' all!
