Williams has received a record 18 Brit Awards, winning Best British Male Artist four times, Outstanding Contribution to Music twice, an Icon Award for his lasting impact on British culture, eight German ECHO Awards, and three MTV European Music Awards. In 2004, he was inducted into the UK Music Hall of Fame after being voted the Greatest Artist of the 1990s. According to the British Phonographic Industry (BPI), he has been certified for 20.2 million albums and 8.66 million singles in the UK as a solo artist. Five of his albums have also topped the Australian albums chart, and has sold 75 million records worldwide, making him one of the best-selling music artists of all time. He also topped the 2000–2010 UK airplay chart. His three concerts at Knebworth in 2003 drew over 375,000 people, the UK's biggest music event to that point. In 2014, he was awarded the freedom of his hometown of Stoke-on-Trent and had a tourist trail created and streets named in his honour. Williams' thirteenth album, XXV was released on 9 September 2022.
After 15 years, Williams rejoined Take That in 2010 to co-write and perform lead vocals on their album Progress, which became the second-fastest-selling album in UK chart history and the fastest-selling record of the century at the time. The subsequent stadium tour, which featured seven songs from Williams' solo career, became the biggest-selling concert in UK history when it sold 1.34 million tickets in less than 24 hours. In 2011, Take That frontman Gary Barlow confirmed that Williams had left the band for a second time to focus on his solo career, although he stated that the departure was amicable and that Williams was welcome to rejoin Take That in the future. Williams has since performed with Take That on three separate television appearances, and collaborated with Barlow on a number of projects such as the West End musical The Band.
Party Like a Russian

To alleviate the cash from a whole entire nation
Take my loose change and build my own space station
(Just because you can, man)
Ain't no refutin' or disputin' - I'm a modern Rasputin
Subcontract disputes to some brutes in Louboutin
Act highfalutin' while my boys put the boots in
(They do the can-can)
Party like a Russian
End of discussion
Dance like it got concussion, oh
Put a doll inside a doll
Party like a Russian
Disco seduction
Party like a Russian, oh
Have it like an oligarch
I've got Stoli and Bolly and Molly, so I'm jolly
And I'm always off my trolley, so I never say sorry
There's a doll, inside a doll, inside a doll, inside a dolly
(Hello, Dolly)
I put a bank inside a car, inside a plane, inside a boat
It takes half the western world just to keep my ship afloat
And I never ever smile unless I've something to promote
I just won't emote
(Spasibo)
Party like a Russian
End of discussion
Dance like it concussion, oh
We've got soul and we've got gold
Party like a Russian
Disco seduction
Party like a Russian, oh
Have it like an oligarch
Raz, dva, tri, chetyre
We're the Russian boys, we're everywhere
There's revolution in the air
Oh oh oh, oh oh oh
Party like a Russian
End of discussion
Dance like it got concussion, oh
Put a doll inside a doll
Party like a Russian
Disco seduction
Party like a Russian, oh
Have it like an oligarch
"Party Like a Russian" by Robbie Williams is a satirical song that uses humor and exaggeration to comment on the extravagant lifestyles of Russian oligarchs. The lyrics describe a man with a certain reputation, who is able to take money from an entire nation and use it to build his own space station. The song portrays this character as a modern-day Rasputin, a reference to the infamous spiritual advisor to the Russian royal family.
The lyrics then go on to describe the excessive partying habits of the singer. He dances like he has a concussion, and throws lavish parties like a Russian oligarch. The references to dolls inside dolls highlight the opulence and excessiveness, portraying the singer as someone who always needs to outdo themselves. The song suggests that this lifestyle is fueled by alcohol, as the singer mentions having Stoli (vodka brand), Bolly (champagne brand), and Molly (possibly referring to a party drug) to keep him happy and carefree.
Throughout the song, there is a sense of irony and criticism towards the extravagance and materialism of the rich and powerful. The singer is portrayed as someone who only smiles when there is something to promote, highlighting the superficial nature of his actions. The phrase "Party like a Russian" serves as a catchy refrain that encapsulates the central theme of the song, mocking the excessive party culture associated with Russian oligarchs.
Overall, "Party Like a Russian" is a satirical commentary on the culture of excess and wealth displayed by Russian oligarchs. It uses exaggeration and humor to criticize the lifestyle and values of the super-rich.

Я только наполовину русский по крови (и родился на Западе).
Но вау, эта песня находит отклик у меня.
Никогда не думал, что у вас должна быть «половина» вечеринки!
Песня на самом деле тоже очень умная.
I'm only half Russian by blood (and born in the West).
But wow this song resonates with me.
I've never thought you should have "half" a party!
The song is actually very clever too.
@ismith8053
@Brigitte likes languages hehe thankyou.
There was an old saying something like
"Mama is a Greek, Papa is a Turk. But I am a Russian". I think its from around 200 years ago when the Russian lands were expanding, especially around Novorossiya.
As full Russians tell me, if you live like a Russian, think like a Russian and speak like one...then you can be one.

@tostek333
Мне казалось это само собой разумеющееся , это как никак классика , мне больше не понравилось , что автор этого не сделал

@David Bowie , Ваша "дума" ни в малейшей степени не противоречит моему утверждению.
