Williams has received a record 18 Brit Awards, winning Best British Male Artist four times, Outstanding Contribution to Music twice, an Icon Award for his lasting impact on British culture, eight German ECHO Awards, and three MTV European Music Awards. In 2004, he was inducted into the UK Music Hall of Fame after being voted the Greatest Artist of the 1990s. According to the British Phonographic Industry (BPI), he has been certified for 20.2 million albums and 8.66 million singles in the UK as a solo artist. Five of his albums have also topped the Australian albums chart, and has sold 75 million records worldwide, making him one of the best-selling music artists of all time. He also topped the 2000–2010 UK airplay chart. His three concerts at Knebworth in 2003 drew over 375,000 people, the UK's biggest music event to that point. In 2014, he was awarded the freedom of his hometown of Stoke-on-Trent and had a tourist trail created and streets named in his honour. Williams' thirteenth album, XXV was released on 9 September 2022.
After 15 years, Williams rejoined Take That in 2010 to co-write and perform lead vocals on their album Progress, which became the second-fastest-selling album in UK chart history and the fastest-selling record of the century at the time. The subsequent stadium tour, which featured seven songs from Williams' solo career, became the biggest-selling concert in UK history when it sold 1.34 million tickets in less than 24 hours. In 2011, Take That frontman Gary Barlow confirmed that Williams had left the band for a second time to focus on his solo career, although he stated that the departure was amicable and that Williams was welcome to rejoin Take That in the future. Williams has since performed with Take That on three separate television appearances, and collaborated with Barlow on a number of projects such as the West End musical The Band.
Sensational

You really did your bit
It's been emotional
You know I love that shit
You look incredible
Even from afar
I think you're sexy and you're funny
And I love you 'cause you love me
Now go away
It's so unusual to feel this good
I'd sing forever if I could
Maybe I should
I'm that good
You better believe it
You've been so beautiful
It's just who you are
I'd have you up here
But I'm the star
I wanna get physical
But ain't that about a bitch
And isn't it a pity
That I gotta leave the city
But you knew it had to end this way
Now go away
It's so unusual to feel this good
I'd sing forever if I could
Maybe I should
I'm that good
You better believe it
You've been affectionate
You dirty bunch of sluts
So disproportionate
Loving you so much
I'm hung like a dolphin
Maybe I've said too much
Yeah, I'm semi-serious with you right now
God bless you all, I love you so much
I love you so much
Auf Wiedersehen
Bless you all, I love you so much
I love you so much
Auf Wiedersehen
Bless you all, I love you so much
I love you so much
Auf Wiedersehen
Bless you all, I love you so much
I love you so much
Auf Wiedersehen
In the lyrics of Robbie Williams's song "Sensational," the singer expresses profound admiration and affection for someone who has made a significant impact on their life. The opening lines convey a sense of gratitude towards this person, acknowledging their sensational presence and emotional connection. The repetition of "I love that shit" emphasizes the depth of the singer's feelings and admiration for the individual, highlighting their incredible qualities and charm.
The lyrics capture the singer's inner conflict between the joy of feeling good in the presence of this person and the bittersweet realization that the moment may not last forever. The desire to sing forever reflects a sense of euphoria and bliss in the relationship, hinting at a desire for eternal happiness in their company. The mention of being "that good" suggests a confidence in the singer's ability to express their emotions and passion, encouraging belief in the authenticity of their feelings.
As the song progresses, the focus shifts to the physical attraction and intimacy shared between the singer and the subject of the song. The playful reference to being "hung like a dolphin" adds a touch of humor and self-awareness to the declaration of desire, creating a lighthearted contrast to the intense emotions being expressed. The singer acknowledges the temporary nature of their connection, hinting at a sense of inevitability in their departure from each other.
The closing lines of the song evoke a mix of sincerity and humor as the singer bids farewell to the listener, expressing profound love and gratitude for the experience shared. The repetition of "Auf Wiedersehen" emphasizes the finality of the moment while also underscoring the singer's affection and fondness for the relationship. Overall, "Sensational" encapsulates a whirlwind of emotions, from admiration and desire to humor and acceptance, creating a dynamic and memorable portrayal of a deeply felt connection.
