F... Comme Femme
Salvatore Adamo Lyrics

Jump to: Overall Meaning ↴  Line by Line Meaning ↴

Overall Meaning

The song “F… Comme Femme” by Salvatore Adamo tells a poignant story of a man who falls deeply in love with a woman who changes his world entirely. The song opens with the singer saying that the woman he fell in love with appeared like a miracle, bringing excitement and joy to his once-sad heart. He describes her as a flower blooming in the garden of his heart, and wonders if she resembled his own happiness.

As the song progresses, he describes how this woman transforms his universe, filling it with enchantment and poetry. He feels like he’s living in a dollhouse, and he’s captivated by her love, which chains him to her every moment. Even though it seems as if he is a victim of her charm, he openly admits that he is in love with this woman, who reminds him of a magical fairy.

However, the song takes a dark turn when the woman decides to clip the wings of a timid bird who desired to be free, leading to its death. This action changes everything, and despite still loving her, the singer struggles to reconcile the woman he loves with her dark side. He realizes that the woman he cherished had a fatal flaw and that, despite leaving him hurt and heartbroken, he would have to let her go.

ainda amo vc.
