Founded in 1992, 'SCB' has a core of three band members: John Cees Smit (vocals), Frank van Praag (guitar) and Geert de Groot (bass). A dozen or so musicians had a stint in the band. Before the recording and release of the 2010 album Slow Mirror, Wicked Chair former Caesar drummer Marit de Loos completed the band.

Scram C Baby appeared at the Lowlands, Eurosonic and Crossing Border festivals and toured the Dutch club circuit extensively. All of their albums, except for their dΓ©but Taste, were released in the BeNeLux by esteemed Dutch indie label Excelsior Recordings.
