Pienso en Ti
Shakira Lyrics

Pienso un poco más en ti
Despedazo mi razón
Se destruye algo de mí
Cada día pienso en ti
Pienso un poco más en ti
Cada día pienso en ti
Cada vez que sale el sol
Busco en algo el valor
Para continuar así
Y te veo a si no te toque
Rezo por ti cada noche
Amanece y pienso en ti
Y retumba en mis oídos
El tic-tac de los relojes
Y sigo pensando en ti
Y sigo pensando
en ti
In these lyrics, Shakira expresses her obsession with someone she cannot stop thinking of. She says that every day she thinks a little bit more about this person, and in doing so, she feels like she is losing a part of herself. Despite the fact that she feels like she is breaking down, Shakira cannot stop herself from seeking out this person in her thoughts. She spends her days searching for a reason to continue feeling this way so she can continue obsessing over this person. She prays for this person every night, holding on to hope that one day they will be together.
Shakira is aware that she cannot touch this person right now but seeing them in her dreams is enough for the time being. However, she is worried that time is running out and that she won't be able to hold on to this obsession forever. The ticking of clocks symbolizes her fear of losing this person, but she still cannot stop herself from continuing to think of them.
Overall, the lyrics are an expression of Shakira's deep longing for someone she cannot be with, and the pain this obsession is causing her.
