In Skizoo's song "Hace tiempo," the lyrics depict the struggle of the singer trying to connect their life to a source of nourishment, with the implication being that the person they are singing to is that source. The singer expresses an acceptance of only a little bit of wisdom, as long as it allows them to overcome the gravity that causes a little bit of death every day. The repetition of "cada día" and "letanía" emphasizes the monotony and repetition of the singer's life.
Later in the song, the singer mentions invoking the Virgin Mary and feeling like an idealistic fool waiting with empty hands. Again, they reiterate that they only need a little bit of wisdom to help them overcome the pull of gravity that seems to be killing them little by little. The section of "lo sabía" serves as a kind of knowing acknowledgement or realization that things might not get better, despite their best efforts.
Overall, the theme of the song seems to center around desiring something more and feeling like there's a lack of fulfillment, despite efforts to connect with something or someone. The imagery of gravity and death add a melancholy tone to the lyrics, emphasizing the weight on the singer's shoulders. The cyclical nature of the refrain also suggests a feeling of being stuck and unable to break free from the monotony.
