Since my earliest days, I have been aware of my existence

I've awakened to the same thing
I am still the same automaton I was from the beginning

Steam escaped to the air
Vapors and gases exuded from my machine core

And black oil dripped from my lips
My inner workings leaked out onto the ground

Well daylight struck a chord with my Photo-receptors
The light from the sun activates my visual sensors and mechanisms

Night greeted me with a sea of stars
After the sunset, I saw the vast array of celestial bodies in the sky

Our eyes all flashed blues and greens Through the night
Our visual sensors picked up different hues of blues and greens in the surrounding environment

It's just our Ah Automatonic Electronic Harmonics
Our unique and robotic way of producing sounds

People are soaring, always exploring, Higher than they've ever been before
Humans are advancing and achieving new heights

But we are still down here, Feet on the ground near What will rise us up with the rest
We remain machine-like, stationary, and unable to progress like humans do

Our thoughts are quixotic, stark and robotic, Mechanical in nature all the time
Our thinking is mechanical and unchanging

And pulses are firing in our head wiring, Guiding all our actions and beings
We are controlled by our circuitry and responses to electronic impulses

I am not an unimaginable thing, My thoughts are tangible, Though they're full of springs
Although I am a robot, my mental processes are perceivable and mechanical

I don't have the heart to send you untruthful words, My skin is cold to the touch and made from the earth
I cannot feel emotions like humans can, and my material is inorganic

Others may think negatively of us, but we take pleasure in our own sounds and presence
