Søt harmoni
Stein Torleif Bjella Lyrics
Jump to: Overall Meaning ↴ Line by Line Meaning ↴
Når eg fyrst kjem i siget er eg seig og du kjem alder herifrå.
I mange år so var eg sjøl eit temmeleg hemmeleg kunstverk.
Tapserfaring har gjort meg synleg og sterk.
Eg kan høyre hjarta slær.
Det er sovidt føtan ber.
Klar for kvinnehenda.
Klar fordi eg stunda
Dilta ette skuggen unde luggen min i årevis.
Klar for kvinnehenda.
Klar fordi eg stunda
etter liv i søt harmoni.
Det bur so mykje i meg hadde du visst det hadde du alder banka på.
Når eg fyrst kjem i siget er eg seig og du kjem alder herifrå.
In Stein Torleif Bjella's "Søt harmoni," the singer reflects on the different experiences and challenges that have shaped him as a person. These experiences have made him both visible and strong, evident in the line "Tapserfaring har gjort meg synleg og sterk," which translates to "Experience of getting lost has made me visible and strong."
The lyrics also suggest a desire for connection and harmony with others, particularly with women as seen in "Klar for kvinnehenda," which means "Ready for the touch of a woman's hand." The singer acknowledges that there is a lot within him that people may not know about, but he is open to the possibility of someone discovering more about him, as indicated by the line "Det bur so mykje i meg hadde du visst det hadde du alder banka på," which translates to "There is so much within me, if you knew, you would never knock."
The song's title, "Søt harmoni," which translates to "Sweet harmony," suggests that the singer is searching for a peaceful balance in his life, despite the challenges he has faced. Overall, the lyrics express a desire for connection, understanding, and a sense of purpose.
