2.) Strings aka Tateeze was born in Chicago, Illinois in the late 70’s, where she gained her initial vocal performance experience in the church choir beginning at the age of eight. She continued to hone her vocal skills in the performing arts high school choir. At age 18, she attended an R Kelly concert in Oklahoma City where she made her way back stage and offered an unsolicited vocal audition. Shortly thereafter, she attended a private party where R Kelly was the featured guest and gave him a sample of her rapping skills. Her determination, persistence and unquestionable vocal and rap skills resulted in R Kelly signing her to her first label deal as a professional recording artist. Tateeze (then known as “Strings”) worked in the R Kelly camp for three years where she was featured on various recordings and performed on various tours.
While in the R Kelly camp she recorded her first album with Base Records / Jive which was not released. After her three year stint with R Kelly, Strings was signed to a solo artist deal with Epic Records by Keith Sweat. During this period she had the privilege of working with artists such as Keith Sweat, Swizz Beats, Mannie Fresh, Rick James, Twista, The Hot Boys and others. She was a featured artist on the Gotham City Remix single that went to 1 on the charts. She recorded her second album while with Epic. Although the album was not released, she did execute a six week promotional tour throughout the U.S.
In 2002, Tateeze was signed to a record deal with Cash Money Records. During this period, she performed several features on all the “named” Cash Money artist projects, including the 1 single “Oh Yeah”. Tateeze toured with the roster of artists as the “first lady” of Cash Money. Due to the events surrounding Hurricane Katrina, she was unable to complete here solo project. Strings describes her rap style as “unique”, “hard-core street”, “brutally honest” and “melodic” (she sings as well).
She is also readily described by her peers as “gifted, sexy, sensual and provocative”. Although she doesn’t feel that she has been influenced by any one particular rap artist in the industry, she does acknowledge that the song, “Lodi Dodi” performed by Slick Rick and Dougie Fresh inspired her to rap. She also has much respect for the work of Biggie Smalls and Jay Z. Her favorite artist for the most part are from the R & B genre; consisting of artists such as Alisha Keys, Lauren Hill, Faith Evans and Mary J. Blige.
As a personal goal, Strings aspires to be “that” well rounded female rap artist who has the look and the talent to thoroughly entertain her audience. She is presently seeking a solo artist deal with a well established label who will embrace and support her message and presentation.

Kehne lagi kya baat hai
Maine kaha yahan din bhi kaali raat hai
Aayi pari
Kehne lagi kya baat hai
Maine kaha yahan din bhi kaali raat hai
Laayi woh ek chhadi
Taaron ki phulghadi
Usne bola is chhadi ko tum zara ghooma ke dekho
Ek do teen kaisa badla scene
Duniya thi rangeen
Main hi main tha
Motor building paise the
Chaha jaise waise the
Bas ek do teen
Ek do teen ek do teen ek do teen
Boli pari kya tumko sab kuch mil gaya
Maine kaha kuch aur hai jo reh gaya
Laayi wohi chhadi
Taaron ki phooljhadi
Maine poocha sach bata bhala kya hoga is chhadi se
Usne bola is chhadi ko tum zara ghooma ke dekho
Ek do teen kaisa badla scene
Duniya thi rangeen
Aur main hi main tha
Duniya bhar pe raaj tha
Sar pe taaj tha
Bas ek do teen
Ek do teen ek do teen ek do teen
Ek din phir aisa hua
Main tanha tha baitha hua
Aayi pari kehne lagi
Kyun tu udaas hai ye lo chhadi
Kuch maang lo
Jis cheez ki aas hai
Ek do teen kaisa badla scene
Duniya thi haseen
Jo maanga sab tha
Har basti mein ujala tha
Haathon mein nivala tha
Ek do teen kaisa badla scene
Duniya thi haseen
Jo maanga sab tha
Haste bachhe baste the
Nikhare raste the
Bas ek do teen
Ek do teen ek do teen ek do teen
Ek do teen ek do teen ek do teen
Bas ek do teen
Strings's song Aik Do Teen is a nostalgic journey that describes the change of a man's perception of the world. At the beginning of the song, the singer meets a fairy who introduces him to a magical wand that can change everything. The man initially believes that the world is dull and lifeless, but the wand shows him how colorful and vibrant everything around him is. The repetition of "Ek do teen" serves as a reminder of the fact that life is ever-changing and that each day is a new experience that should be embraced.
As the song progresses, the man realizes that he still yearns for something more despite the wand's revelations. When he becomes despondent, the fairy reminds him to keep asking for what he wants and eventually, he will receive it. This message resonates with the listener, who is reminded that it is important to continue dreaming and asking for what they want even if it seems impossible.

Aayi pari
A beautiful fairy has arrived
Kehne lagi kya baat hai
She asked what's the matter
Maine kaha yahan din bhi kaali raat hai
I said even the day feels like a dark night here
Laayi woh ek chhadi
She brought a stick
Taaron ki phulghadi
A lantern made of stars
Maine poocha sach bata bhala kya hoga is chhadi se
I asked her what good could come from this stick
Usne bola is chhadi ko tum zara ghooma ke dekho
She said spin the stick and see what happens
Ek do teen kaisa badla scene
One, two, three, how the scene changed
Duniya thi rangeen
The world was colorful
Main hi main tha
I was just me
Motor building paise the
The building was full of money
Chaha jaise waise the
As desired, things were just the way they were
Bas ek do teen
Just one, two, three things
Boli pari kya tumko sab kuch mil gaya
The fairy asked if I got everything I wanted
Maine kaha kuch aur hai jo reh gaya
I said there's something else that's left
Duniya bhar pe raaj tha
I ruled the whole world
Sar pe taaj tha
I had a crown on my head
Ek din phir aisa hua
But one day, something happened
Main tanha tha baitha hua
I was sitting alone, feeling lonely
Kyun tu udaas hai ye lo chhadi
The fairy asked why I was sad then gave me the stick
Kuch maang lo
She said ask for something
Jis cheez ki aas hai
Anything you desire
Duniya thi haseen
The world was beautiful
Jo maanga sab tha
I got everything I asked for
Har basti mein ujala tha
There was light in every town
Haathon mein nivala tha
People had something in their hands
Haste bachhe baste the
Kids laughing and playing
Nikhare raste the
Streets were clean and shiny
