Moscow
T.A. Lyrics

Jump to: Overall Meaning ↴  Line by Line Meaning ↴

I'm living far away
In darkness every day
I'll never forget your smile
I miss your style
How can I go ahead
I need you I am sad
And I'm still running around
In a Russian town

Moscow
When the rain falls down in Moscow
When I'm all alone in Moscow
I am thinking of you
Wish the sky would be blue

Ladadi dadada
Ladadi dadada
Ladadi dadada
Ladadi dadada

I hear you call my name
There's still a burning flame
I wanna let you know
I miss you so
I never felt this way
And I don't wanna stay
But I'm still running around
In a Russian town

When the rain falls down
Falls down in Moscow
I'm so alone

I am thinking of you
Wish the sky would be blue

Overall Meaning

In T.A.'s song "Moscow", he sings about his loneliness and longing for a lost love while staying in Moscow, the capital city of Russia. He feels dark and alone every day, and he can't forget his lover's smile and style. He's sad and running around the city, not moving forward with his life because he needs her. The rain falls down on the city, but all he can do is think of her, wishing the sky would be blue to match his mood. He hears her calling his name, and the flame of love still burns inside him. He misses her and feels he can't go on without her. He's in a Russian town, but all he can see is her.

The lyrics show a deep sense of despair and heartbreak. The singer is going through a rough patch in his life, and he's using the city of Moscow as a backdrop to express his emotions. His longing for his lover is strong and overpowering. The rain is symbolic of the singer's tears and sadness. The song is a great example of the power of music to evoke emotions.

Good evening Marina!
We find ourselves in a video that is suitable for the period in which people flock to supermarkets to do their shopping for the holidays.
Obviously, Russian supermarkets are not unprepared and the shelves are full of food.
For me too, the fish section is my favorite, especially in this period in which many dishes are based on fish and I see a lot of good fish that is cheap based on the quantities sold.
One thing that struck me because I have never seen them are the jars with pickled prawns. 🤩
I wonder what they will taste like. 😋
What's happening to eggs in Russia?
Perhaps in this period they have raised the prices of eggs because they know that it is a much more used ingredient compared to other periods.
But don't worry Marina if something happens to the eggs because I noticed that there are Easter eggs from Kinder Ferrero which certainly help to compensate. 🤣🤣🤣 I wonder why chocolate Easter eggs are on sale during the Christmas period. Maybe they are inventories that are about to expire.
If you travel throughout Italy in this period, in every region you will find traditional Christmas desserts, however, the dessert that all Italians have in common is Panettone which I believe you have heard about and perhaps eaten which may be another Italian stereotype like pasta and pizza. As I have noticed, they are not sold in Russian supermarkets which are usually placed near sparkling wines and champagne.
In Russia, do you have a typical Christmas dessert that all Russians have in common?
The Christmas decorations section is quite large with lots of colors but I like the puppets representing Russian characters. 😊
Even the alcohol section must necessarily be abundant in this period due to the toasts that will be made between New Year and Christmas.
However, Marina, you should at least toast New Year's Eve because, as tradition says, it brings good luck.
And what traditions and customs do you have on New Year's Eve? In the sense that after the New Year's toast do you eat some typical dishes? In Italy one of the many traditions we have is to eat Zampone or Cotechino which is the lower part of the pig's leg first boiled in water and then cooked with a lentil soup. This is a very ancient custom because eating pig's foot on New Year's Eve means abundance for the next year and lentils are said to bring money even if the custom dates back to the ancient Romans who also ate lentils on New Year's Eve because they had a flat shape resemble metal coins, therefore, the belief was born that if they were eaten on New Year's Eve they would bring money during the year.
However, in a Russian New Year eating those sausages should be worth the same as Zampone. 😁🤤😋
The pre-cooked food section is simply tempting and I would eat them all. 🤤🤤
If I do that, I wouldn't want people to think I'm lazy. 🤣🤣🤣
It always has a certain effect going to the supermarkets during this period because there is an air of festive preparations and seeing videos like this are a great pleasure.
Marina I wish you a happy return to Siberia and thanks for the Christmas greetings. I think we'll talk to you for New Year's Eve.
In the meantime, I greet you and hug you. 😊

Dokładnie widać ten głód w Rosji i puste półki , sankcje przeciwko Rosji dają rezultaty 😀

@madeinrussland

Exactly 👍💯😂

А ведь здесь ещё должны быть товары из Польши. Кто кого в итоге наказал? Польша Россию или Россия Польшу? Американцы, если что, спокойно закупают в России то, что им нужно. А Европе так нельзя делать))

@1972Toljan

Санкции, это самое глупое, что могли сделать власти западных стран. Мало того, что мы от этого стали только сильней, но еще и поняли наконец, какие же конченные уроды у вас во власти, которые хотели убить нас, а в итоге подрубили ноги сами себе.
