The lyrics to The Beatles’ song “Twist and Shout” are a call to dance and let loose. The opening line, “shake it up, baby, now,” is an invitation to let go of any inhibitions and move to the music. The repetition of “come on” throughout the song emphasizes the exhortation to join in. The chorus, “twist and shout,” is an exuberant command to dance and vocalize joyfully. The lyrics convey a sense of liberation and abandon, as the singer is swept away by the rhythm and the sight of his dance partner. There is a flirtatious quality to the lyrics, as the singer encourages his partner to come closer and let him know she’s his.
The lyrics of “Twist and Shout” capture the spirit of youthful energy and contagious enthusiasm. The song became an instant classic and remains a timeless anthem of rock and roll. As a cover of Phil Medley and Bert Berns’ original song, The Beatles brought their own interpretation and flair to the tune. Released in 1963, “Twist and Shout” was a chart-topping hit and a staple of The Beatles’ concerts. The song continues to be a beloved favorite for dancing and singing along.

Dude, lol - "amazing" doesn't even come close. It was, like:
On July 20, 1969, Neil Armstrong became the second man to walk on the moon. I was the first, along with millions of other teenagers, the night of February 23, 1964, watching the Beatles perform five songs on the Ed Sullivan show. I was 15 years old and the still point in the turning world filled with rock and roll music forever.
Dad: (looking curious and mildly perplexed) glances from the TV to me, to my mom, to the TV...
My mom: 'Yeah, yeah, yeah' - is that what they're singing? What does that mean?
Me: It means 'Yeah, yeah, yeah,' Mom.
Dad: looks at me, at my mom, at the TV, at my mom, at me ....
The Beatles had landed.
