Angels in the Sky
The Crew Cuts Lyrics
The Lord will see you walking
And He will hear you talking
Talking to the angels in the sky
And when you know He's near you
The Lord will always hear you
Talking to the angels in the sky
Talk to the angels
Let them hear your plea
Get upon your knees and
Pray the Lord will help you
And when He sees you walking
He will hear you talking
Talking to the angels in the sky
And when you know He's near you
The Lord will always hear you
Talking to the angels in the sky
Talk to the angels
Let them hear your plea
Tell them that you're lonely
Get upon your knees and
Pray the Lord will help you
And when He sees you walking
He will hear you talking
Talking to the angels in the sky
And when you know He's near you
The Lord will always hear you
Talking to the angels in the sky
Talking to the angels in the sky

The Crew-Cuts were a Canadian vocal quartet (formed in 1952 - Toronto, Ontario, Canada) that made a number of popular records that charted in the United States and worldwide. They named themselves after the popular crew cut haircut, one of the first connections made between pop music and hairstyle. While the crew-cut hair style came as a result of the name change, the original intent was that the name crew-cuts denoted the music they sang (pop) as opposed to Longhair (classical). @azw596 This is quite a sweet song and very catchy. I find myself singing it quite often after I hear it again.

This was one of my favorite 45 records as a child....Not sure how I came to have it, but I remember loving the close harmonies and practically wearing it out little knowing that in about 50 years I’d have the pleasure of meeting one of the singers, John Perkins, in person on a couple of occasions quite by chance. One of those little odd coincidences in life that you just cant fathom sometimes.

Thanks for commenting! I love their harmonies too!
