Anđelina

a u njega nikad ni ne gleda.
Dodir joj je kao plamen
koji kaže "želim da te imam".
Želim da mi piješ usne
kao vino tijelom i dušom,
vito tilo činilo bi čuda,
Ref. x2

"Anđelina" is a love song by Croatian band Thompson. The lyrics of the song are about a woman who is referred to as a part of heaven, but she never notices it. Her touch is like fire, and it says "I want to have you". The singer of the song wants the woman to drink his lips like wine with her body and soul. He believes that if he had her, all the crew would go crazy about her. The chorus of the song repeats the name "Anđelina" six times and ends with a plea to return to their hood and allowing them to fly again like they used to.
The song is full of metaphors that speak to the depth of love and affection the singer has for Anđelina. The lyrics suggest that the singer of the song loves the woman not just with his physical being but also his soul. The song is passionate yet tender, and the story can be read as a nostalgic yearning for a lost love.
