With fourteen original songs, Breaking All The Rules showcases the girls’ dramatic vocal talents and distinctive harmonies. Three of Hearts is a family trio from Plano, Texas, USA comprised of Lauri Smith and her daughters, Shelly Smith Bowman and Amanda Smith.
Three of Hearts has performed throughout Texas, Wyoming, and Arizona. 2004 performance venues included the Texas Music Theater, Texas South Beach, Gabby’s, Love & War in Texas, Graham Central Station, and the Terry Awards, to name a few. In 2004 they were also asked to sing for the Governor of Wyoming and the Brigadier General/Commander of Wyoming Air National Guard and their troops. They have played alongside and opened for such popular country artists as Deryl Dodd, Dusk till Dawn, Craig Boyd, Cowboys & Indians and many others. In July, 2004, they won the Central Texas round of the national country artist’s competition known as the Colgate Country Showdown. In early 2005 they will be featured artists at the Star Select Opry in Mineola, Texas, the live television show “Simply Texas” in Dallas, and the Graham County/Tri-County Fair in Southeastern Arizona. They will also be performing the national anthem for Dallas area professional sports organizations including the Dallas Desperados and the Frisco Roughriders.
Independent Texas country radio stations have received Three of Heart’s first single “Behind Those Eyes” with enthusiasm and praise, as well as their live a capella renditions when interviewing on-air. When released in November 2004, “Behind Those Eyes” hit the Texas Regional Radio Report at #50 and so far has climbed to number 33.
Three of Hearts was formed in 1997 when Amanda, the youngest member of the trio, was only 9 years old. After seven years winning audiences’ praises with their unique harmonizing of cover tunes, they were proud to release this all-original album.
