Tim has over twelve years experience in the game audio industry having created music and sound design for titles such as Middle Earth, The Incredibles, Pariah, Lord Of The Rings, Robota by Doug Chiang (Art Director of Star Wars Episode I and II), Prince Of Persia and many more, as well as being an Academy Award winning sound designer for the Sony Imageworks production team's "Best Animated Short" in 2003.
His experience in the music industry dates back to live performances as a trumpet player with artists such as Ella Fitzgerald, James Brown, Mel Torme, Sheila E and Huey Lewis to name a few. He has recorded on albums for various artists including Ice-T and also as a solo artist for Avenue Jazz. Various films, TV series and documentaries have featured Tim's work as well. Films such as HBO's The Rat Pack, White Mile and Floundering and documentaries such as National Geographic's Lost Fleet Of Guadalcanal, Pearl Harbor and The White House, and American Experience documentaries on Galileo and the Wright Brothers are only a few of the many projects to which he has lent his talent.

Wow, Tucker, it’s kind of weird hearing a serious conversation from the guy who brought me the “Absinthe” story, this was a LOT better than I pre-judged. It has been 20 (or so)something years since I read that story, back in Chicago. This was refreshing to see. Glad to see you are still “alive & kicking”.

Regarding what you said at the beginning of the video about most people being aware of hard times in the future, I feel like it’s the opposite. My old circle of friends and most of my coworkers are still clueless, and most of them are fairly intelligent. I’m in the Austin area, and it seems that most are still living in a bubble. I’m actively working to shift my circle to those who get it, in part to be ready for the future and in part because I just can’t relate to people who don’t get it and refuse to wake up. It blows my mind how complacent they are.

Tremendous video Tucker & Tim! Question for either, what keywords do I type into Google to try my luck and find schools that teach this reality based violence defense? I don't live in the US, and obviously typing in "self defence classes" gets the worst results.

I know what Tucker is talking about. After I purchased my pistol for self defense in 2020, I did not take it out of the holster for MONTHS out of shear weight of responsibility. I knew that as long as the gun was in the holster, none of the bad incidents such as negligent discharge could happen.
I still don’t feel more powerful with the gun in my hand. I feel more weight of the responsibility.
