Perfídia
Trio Irakitan Lyrics

Pregúntale si yo alguna vez
Te he dejado de adorar
Y al mar espejo de mi corazón
Las veces qué me ha visto llorar
La perfidia de tu amor
Y no te puedo hallar
Para qué quiero otros besos
Si tus labios no me quieren ya besar
Y tú quien sabe por donde andarás
Quien sabe que aventura tendrás
Que lejos estás de mi...
The lyrics of Trio Irakitan's song "Perfidia" tell a story of heartbreak and longing. The song speaks of a man who feels betrayed by his lover and is plagued by memories of her. The opening lines, "Mujer si puedes tú con Dios hablar / Pregúntale si yo alguna vez / Te he dejado de adorar" (If you can talk to God, woman, ask him if I've ever stopped adoring you), reveal the depth of the man's love for the woman and his confusion over why she would betray him. He speaks of the times he has cried over her and feels the pain of her betrayal so acutely that he calls it the "perfidia" of her love.
The man goes on to say that he has searched for her everywhere but cannot find her. He is unwilling to accept anyone else's love and finds no comfort in other people's affection when he cannot have the love of the woman he desires. He wonders where she might be and what she is doing, but the distance between them is too great for him to bridge. The final lines of the song, "Que lejos estás de mi" (How far away you are from me), underscore the man's sense of loss and separation.

Há mais alguém romântico como eu curtindo essas músicas maravilhosas em 2023? O Trio Irakitan assim como outras joias musicais brasileiras, levaram o bolero, o romantismo e a poesia para muito além do nosso continente. Viva o Bolero! Viva o Trio Irakitan! Viva o Brasil!!!
