Troublemakers Lyrics
Jump to: Overall Meaning ↴ Line by Line Meaning ↴
The lyrics of Troublemakers' song Bla bla bla bla bla are an introspective reflection on the struggles of trying to live a life outside societal norms. The first two lines of the song set the tone by describing the singer's vision and passion for life, which sets them apart from the rest of society. However, despite their efforts to deviate from the norm, something went awry, and they have ended up becoming one of the countless individuals who simply count the years passing by.
The subsequent verses delve deeper into the singer's despair, as they are haunted by their inner demons and plagued by unending questions that they cannot seem to answer. The chorus repeats the refrain "en av de grå" (one of the gray), emphasizing the singer's feeling of being part of the anonymous masses. The song ends with a hypothetical question, asking if there is anything that can be done or if the singer can understand why they have ended up this way.
In essence, the lyrics of Bla bla bla bla bla are about the frustration of trying to break out of the mold and live a unique life, only to find oneself conforming to societal norms in the end.
