Pavey came to prominence in 2013 season of The Voice Australia. She used Simon & Garfunkel's Scarborough Fair / Canticle as her audition piece and immediately wowed both the judges and the audience alike. Pavey released one LP and an EP under her own name, but in August 2015 revealed she would be releasing music under the Vera Blue pseudonym.
Vera Blue's first EP Fingertips was released 13th May 2016 and has so far yielded two singles, Hold and Settle

This is another great example of why I love Triple J as it is unlikely I would discover such a sweet little indie pop song without them. The vocals are beautiful and they compliment meaningful lyrics. At near 60 thank you Vera Blue for a great song and Triple J who I have listened to since the mid-90s for still championing great Australian talent.
