Andymori first formed in 2007, performing live at live houses in the Tokyo area. Their first big event was the Fuji Rock Festival in 2008, where they performed on the new artist stage. The band released their first EP "アンディとロックとベンガルトラとウィスキー" in October 2008, as the first new artist signed to Youth Records. This was followed by their full-length album in February 2009, "andymori".The lead single, "Follow Me," was chosen as an iTunes Single of the Week free download song in January.
The band performed at many of the major summer festivals in 2009, such as Rock in Japan and Summer Sonic. In October, the band held their first one man live, and featured on the 10 year anniversary tribute album for Quruli.
In 2010, the band released their second album, "ファンファーレと熱狂". Prior to its release, they were picked as one of the iTunes Japan "Sound of 2010" break-through artists, and their video for "Follow Me" was nominated for the Best New Artist award for the 2010 Space Shower Music Video Awards. The album has so far reached #9 on the Oricon albums daily charts.
At the end of 2010, their first drummer left the band, being replaced by Kenji Okayama (岡山健二), his first live with the band being in December of the same year. At the beginning of 2011, they got the Grande Prize at the 3rd CD Shop Awards and released a digital single called "兄弟", donating all the funds that came from it to the reconstruction of Japan after March 11's tsunami and earthquake. Their third album, "革命", was released soon after, in June; it reached the 8th position on the Oricon daily album charts.
On 2012, they had plans to release their 4th album, "光", at May 2nd (it was originally planned to be released in March 3rd, but was postponed), and perform a Zepp Tour in order to promote it.
In 2014, it was announced that Andymori would break up after seven years. The band released its final album, Uchū no Hate wa Kono Me no Mae ni , on June 26 of that year, and perform a tour from July until September. The final date of the tour was held at the Nippon Budokan on September 24.

Happy End
andymori Lyrics
Jump to: Overall Meaning ↴ Line by Line Meaning ↴
The lyrics of "Happy End" by andymori touch on themes of understanding and acceptance, finding happiness in simple moments, and the beauty in imperfection. The singer expresses that they don't necessarily want someone to understand their everyday life, but if they were to walk straight ahead with true sincerity, they would inevitably drift away from others at some point. They find solace in the idea that even if they lock away their emotions like hiding the key in the rain, even if their feelings go unnoticed, that can still be a happy ending. It is a bittersweet sentiment, acknowledging that life doesn't always go as planned, but finding contentment in accepting the circumstances.
The lyrics continue to describe a scene where the singer writes a song about an ugly stray kitten using a guitar by the window. They ponder why their once lively and playful friends have stopped laughing, though they are unsure whose fault it is. They find another happy ending in the thought that if they can't go anywhere anyway, they are content to stay in the same place. The final verse depicts a scene in the Inokashira Park during sunset, where the singer kicks a Coke can and admires the beautiful face of the person next to them who has just spilled their emotions about feeling hopeless. Once again, the idea of finding a happy ending in staying together in an unchangeable situation is emphasized.
Overall, "Happy End" presents a perspective on finding happiness amidst the complexities of life, accepting the inevitability of change and separation, and cherishing the beauty in imperfect moments.
