Hand in Glove
by The Smiths

Hand in glove
The sun shines out of our behinds
No, it's not like any other love
This one is different, because it's us
Hand in glove
We can go wherever we please
And everything depends upon
How near you stand to me

And if the people stare
Then the people stare
Oh, I really don't know and I really don't care

Kiss my shades

Hand in glove
The good people laugh
Yes, we may be hidden by rags
But we've something they'll never have
Hand in glove
The sun shines out of our behinds
Yes, we may be hidden by rags
But we've something they'll never have

And if the people stare
Then the people stare
Oh, I really don't know and I really don't care

Kiss my shades

So, hand in glove I stake my claim
I'll fight to the last breath
If they dare touch a hair on your head
I'll fight to the last breath
For the good life is out there somewhere
So stay on my arm, you little charmer
But I know my luck too well
Yes, I know my luck too well
And I'll probably never see you again
I'll probably never see you again
I'll probably never see you again

Yeah Morrissey and marr are beasts...but have you ever zoned in on that bass? Dudes a monster!

@zep head I totally agree. Jimmy, Robert and Bonzo were the stars of LZ, while Jonesy sometimes got lost in the mix. But if you listen very hard ... you can tell just how brilliant he was, and probably still is. Did session work with Jimmy in the 60's too, I think. Have you heard Them Crooked Vultures? (JPJ, Josh Homme, Dave Grohl) I really like their song New Fang!

@Helen Becker Jonesy is a great bass player. He plays guitar too. Also keyboards. Extremely versatile musician. I always thought he was underused in LZ.

@zep head Hey! Yes you, Zep Head. John Paul Jones? Seriously though, Moz sang with such pure, raw emotion, and the band just shone.

All 4 members are unique. Even Joyce's drumming is irreplaceable

Well after 1987 that was partially true.

That is such a true line if you know what I mean, and applies to so many of the REAL good people in our lives; it is so sad.
