This talente… Read Full Bio ↴Mexican Aleks Syntek was born in September 29 of 1969.
This talented musician has been involved in many different projects from advertisements to TV shows and movies.
By the late '80s, Syntek, along with two friends, decided to form an alternative band. Their first record, called Hey Tú, was released by EMI in 1990, followed by Más Fuerte De Lo Que Pensaba in 1993. The latter included a contribution from former The Doors Ray Manzarek who played in a song called "Nuestras Costumbres."
Later, Aleks Syntek y la Gente Normal started touring Latin America while their songs Mis Impulsos Sobre Tí, "El Camino," and "Más Fuerte De Lo Que Pensaba" were climbing on the most important charts in Chile, Colombia, Puerto Rico, and Argentina.
In 1995, Bienvenido a la Vida was released, followed by 1997's Lugar Secreto, produced by Rodolfo Cruz and Michael Rojkind. In addition, Aleks Syntek y la Gente Normal participated in the Latin tribute to the British band Queen.
In 1999, Syntek produced the soundtrack for the Mexican film 'Sexo, Pudor y Lágrimas'.

In "Duele El Amor," Aleks Syntek sings about the pain of love and heartbreak. The first two lines set the tone, stating that love hurts so much without the other person that it can be deadly. He then describes how he feels the moisture on him from seeing his love cry, and how he knows it will hurt him if she leaves. He wishes he could stop time and the distance between them, but the sky is dark and the sun won't come out. The chorus repeats the sentiment that love hurts without the other person, using rain and the color gray to symbolize the sadness and despair that come with heartbreak.
The song speaks to the universal feeling of loss and the realization that love doesn't always endure. The singer acknowledges his own vulnerability and fragility without his partner. He questions how to move on and fix what went wrong, admitting he doesn't even know where he caused damage. The bridge suggests that neither he nor his partner are responsible for the end of their relationship, but they are both susceptible to the whims of life.
