Born on 17 December 1989 in Olsztyn. In 1997 he began learning to play the violin at the National Music School of the First Degree in his home town Lidzbark Warminski.
He is a student of the Music Academy in Gdansk, speciality - composer. Michał’s parents are professional musicians and educators.
Michał began his adventure with composing in January 2005, when his mother went to hospital in Warsaw. In July 2006, his best friend Łukasz Miszewski died. The pain and suffering were written into the score of “Requiem for the Friend” – composed for an orchestra and a choir. The ten-part tribute to the deceased friend is one of the greatest compositions by Michał.
Other works include: orchestra suite “Love”, Guitar Concerto No.1, Grand piano Concerto No.1, Violin Concerto No.1, Cello Concerto No.1 ( all consisting of three parts), Soprano Saxophone Concertino with orchestra, compositions: Action Score- “Tribute”, “Honor”, “Adventure”, “Important Dreams”, “Between the Clouds” and numerous other works composed for symphony orchestra, chamber orchestra and bands.
He is the founder of the symphony orchestra Sinfonietta Consonus with which, on 23 January 2009, he had his first concert as a composer at the concert hall of Feliks Nowowiejski Comprehensive Music School of the First and Second Degree in Gdańsk. On June 13 and 18 2009, he and Sinfonietta Consonus recorded “Orchestra Suite Love”, released on 10 December 2009. In November 2009 he received an award in Janina Garść Young Composers Competition in Cracow for the composition “Schizophrenia” written for a string orchestra. He composes film and games music.
