It’s a term that makes no sense.

I just don’t like music that sounds different all getting lumped in together.

Calling bands and groups like The Breeders, Blind Melon, Counting Crowes, Spin Doctors, Semisonic, Oasis, Deep Blue Something, Republica, Blur, etc etc, as “Alternative”.
Is like calling Slayer, Morbid Angel, Megedeth, Venom and Death as “PoP”.

To me Alternative Rock is mostly just 90’s and 00’s Hard Rock/Metal that was inspired by Mike Patton of Faith No More.

Songs that I consider to be true Alternative Rock are

Holy shit this was the imaginary riff and drumming that was stuck in my head for decades with that distinctive singing mixed at 3:10 always thinking what a cool party as a kid sounded like. I always thought it was all a made up sound in my head but this literally left me astonished and feel almost complete by randomly solving an abandoned mystery of music in my head just by simply giving kim deals band a shot. Everything really is connected. I've been getting high for 8 years straight and my life has finally been getting better after a month sober. No high of all times beats the euphoria I feel tonight. Sophomore year of high school I had recorded a portion of this from the radio. I loved the song (or at least the portion i had recorded and replayed over and over) but had no idea who it was or what it was called. I was singing it in world history class when a kid next to me, who was very introverted, and known for doing drugs suddenly joined in on the chorus. He enlightened me on the title and artist. We kinda hit it off in that moment, but he quickly went back to not wanting to communicate with the outside world. Thanks JR, hope you are doing ok and God bless.

One guy replied to my comment with what the …And the creator (fitness guy) also ignored the message.

2 months go by and I get a notification with someone saying “you tried to warn him”. I was wondering what that reply meant then I checked his latest video with comments of RIP. WHaaaaaaat!! The guy died I think from a heart attack (this guy had a six pack, was young and was fit). I hope and pray he repented & Believed in Jesus before he died. What an amazing and funky chord prog! Add 9s, add 11s, plenty of SUS chords, Not so common in pop music then, and certainly not now. Also, the musicians here are angels, so there's that. A popular song, but overlooked in modern times. It's one of the top on my Spotify playlist.

Why should God let you into Heaven?

Have you lied (even once in your entire life), looked with lust (sexual desire), dishonoured parents, stolen anything, had hatred towards someone, had premarital sex, adultery etc If you answered yes to any one of the above then you are a sinner like the rest of us.

So, I ask you again, why should God let a sinner into Heaven?

Sinners don’t go to heaven they go to hell, But we are blessed to have Jesus (God incarnate) die on the Cross and rise from the dead. If you Repent (forsake your sinful, unholy ways and live righteous instead) & Believe in Jesus as God, you will be seen as a Saint and welcomed into Heaven.
John 3:17 For God did not send His Son into the world to condemn the world, but that the world through Him might be saved
