This song is so special in my life.. It was the very first rock N roll song that caught my eye and changed my life forever!

My mum got the morning glory album as a gift at work, she brought back home and left by the radio, me as a curious 9 year old brazilian boy without a favourite music genre yet grabbed the cd and started to play it, I couldn't understand English back them but I loved their music straight away! Damm these guys could rock...
When I made it to track 5 there was it a rock N roll fanático was born!
I listened to hey now dozens of time that day, reading the lyrics and trying to make sense of what it meant and even though this song was the very first in my life that I feel in love with!

Music was the main reason for me to try and learn English and all that started with hey now back in the late 90's, my musical taste devoloped throughout the years but it's impossible to forget the impact this album and specially this song had on me

This song is so beautiful, the lyrics, the slide guitar, the solo, the synthesizer, everything.

I sang this for my graduation class that's only been 7 years but I think I turned some people to this version and hope it brings them the same joy of time and self reflection this song brings to me. And takes them back to simple times of our youth in school.

This song evokes you something really nostalgic. Like if you listen to this song almost everyday in a certain time of your life, it will make you shiver if you listen to it again some years later. the band had trouble getting the drumming right live on stage with this song cos of the drumming starts/stops before a new verse in the song ( albeit alan white being a great drummer) I read somewhere that cos of the odd timing mishap when rehearsing it they left it off when playing live, plus even during this period of the band the song choice for live songs were huge, must have been a headache!

Not True Scotsman This tune is amazing. The really sincere vocals and the truly beautiful arrangements in the last choruses is one of many things that are good about this song. Personally, Hey Now or Cast No Shadow is the best on the album. Hard to pick one though 😃

I don’t know why, but this song just knocks me for six every time I hear it... it just moves me. And I love that’s it’s like the hidden gem on the album - definitely the least talked about song but, for me, maybe... just maybe, their best ever song. There I said it. Yo amo Oasis ,es mi banda emblema ,, esta es una de sus mejores canciones , me gusta bastante , la letra no es absurda , tiene partes muy buenas ,. Pero el rock no es un genero perfecto , tambien hay bandas con canciones horribles , (todo es subjetivo) , por que hay muchisimas variedades y muchisimos estilos de rock,, hay personas que discuten por eso y nunca llegan a un acuerdo , para mi solo hay 3 generos perfectos por que de cada 10 canciones 7 son buenas ,Eurodance/techno , Disco , funk .
