She does a GREAT job on this in her "Light Above The Trees" video (PBS) from The Palace Of Fine Arts in San Francisco(1997). A MUST see. I have it on VHS......WOW!!!

one of her best, love it

beautiful music. And her husband plays the shakuhachi (a traditional flute)
Her song DREAMWALK was the 1st time I heard of her band. The CD is probably a collectors item now since it had a tiny video on it.

Actually, her first solo album was in 1987 and was A Drop Of Water.

Can't believe you guys are marking this as spam. Let this man/woman give his/her opinion too, people!
I agree with you that this song feels like a way to just show Keiko Matsui's techniques and skill, which she definitely has, but there's just no feeling to it. No story to tell.
The drummer ís a tight drummer. This kind of music might seem harder than it is, but it's actually difficult to keep it tight like this.

LMFAO, she's not 19, she's well over 30, hahaha. Her first album was recorded somewhere in '89!

Just a little friendly advice people.....I checked out "Belonging" by this Jearrett chap....only listen if you want to fall asleep or bore yourself to death! And the drums? Who the hell is listening to the drums? Yeah, they are necessary for a band, but Keiko sounds great when she plays solo piano....check that out people!!!
Drums? Who cares about the freakin' drums??

我的最喜欢!

No, I can't. lol
I agree with the top three classification, but she is not nineteen. Her first album was released nineteen years ago, in 1989, and is titled, Under Northern Lights.

Yeah, that's way better indeed. Thanks for giving the recommendation.
