While grieving my dad , I found this beautiful song. My parents are from Romania - I was born in the United States of America. We have this instrument at home and occasionally he would blow into it a melody. He loved playing instruments and loved listening to beautiful melodies. This piece brought tears - I cried. We call it the Romanian Nai. It’s one of my favourite and the Caval Flute .Romania has many beautiful traditions and customs. When I was little my mom used to make me dance Paparuda to make it rain when it was dry. So many beautiful memories keeping our traditions and then I moved abroad and miss every single day Romania.
