Då Rädslan Tar Farväl
Åsa Jinder Lyrics
Jump to: Overall Meaning ↴ Line by Line Meaning ↴
Hoppet stiga i själens boning
Då rädslan tar farväl
These lyrics speak to the internal struggle and longing for connection and meaning in life, as well as the fear that often holds us back from pursuing those desires. The first paragraph reflects the singer's desire to believe in the possibility of finding peace and stability, but also acknowledges the lack of comfort that currently exists. They question if there is someone there for them, someone who can bring them happiness and ease their pain.
In the second paragraph, the singer reaches out to this person, asking them to come to them and truly see and touch them. They long for a connection and intimacy that has been lacking, and express the belief that just the mere thought of this person brings them joy. Their longing has consumed them in every way, and they plead for this person to lead them home and fill the void within them.
The third paragraph delves deeper into what gives the singer's life meaning: the thought of a union between themselves and the object of their longing. They imagine that if they can gather enough courage, this connection could become a reality. They ponder if they have been waiting all this time just to experience the hope that rises within their soul when the fear finally departs.
The final line, "Då rädslan tar farväl," can be translated as "When fear says goodbye" or "When fear takes its leave." This indicates a turning point in the singer's journey, where they are ready to let go of their fears and fully embrace the possibilities that lie ahead. It's a declaration of bravery, a recognition that fear no longer holds power over them, and an invitation to take a step towards a future filled with hope and connection.
