Lyrics

Silence
Silence
Silence
These lyrics express a sense of loneliness and isolation. The first verse talks about a broken and lonely shadow, symbolizing a person who feels on the verge of breaking down. This person cannot love anyone and instead finds solace in the sun's presence, as if seeking comfort in its warmth and light. Whenever this person's heart becomes weary and they pause to reflect, they hear a sad song woven by the wind, which represents the embodiment of their sorrow.
The second verse reflects on the past, specifically a summer that seemed too youthful and innocent compared to the present. Even in that time, the person was near the love they longed for. There is a sense of silence and emptiness beneath the pure white sky, as if everything has become still and motionless. The metaphor of a Merry-Go-Round is introduced, highlighting the person's perpetual loneliness as they continue to ride it alone, spinning in circles.
The lyrics also touch upon the fear of betraying others, causing the person to be apprehensive about meeting new people. This fear suggests a potential history of hurting others or being hurt themselves, leading to a sense of caution and unease in their interactions.
In the third verse, the feeling of loneliness is described as painful, yet the person locks themselves in their room as a way to cope. Silence prevails and there is not even the slightest sound. The Merry-Go-Round continues to turn, but the scenery flowing by carries a sense of melancholy, reinforcing the person's sadness and solitude.
The final lines highlight a heavy burden from a past that seemed too difficult to live with. The person acknowledges that they have always hurt someone, indicating a pattern of causing pain to others. Once again, there is silence under the pure white sky, as the Merry-Go-Round continues to turn, much like the person who continues their lonely journey, spinning in circles day after day.
