Their current lineup consists of Hoffmann, vocalist Mark Tornillo, guitarists Uwe Lulis and Philip Shouse, drummer Christopher Williams and bassist Martin Motnik. Before arriving at their current lineup, Accept has undergone numerous lineup changes, being Hoffmann the last remaining original member since its inception, and he is the only band member to appear on each album.
Accept played an important role in the development of speed and thrash metal, and they were part of the German heavy metal scene, which emerged in the early to mid-1980s. They have also been cited as an influence or inspiration by a number of acts, including Metallica, Megadeth, Slayer, Pantera, Testament, Anthrax, Guns N' Roses, Mötley Crüe, Alice in Chains, Soundgarden, Overkill, Exodus, and Annihilator, as well as fellow Germans such as Helloween, Blind Guardian, Doro, Sodom, Rage, and Grave Digger. Accept achieved its first commercial success with their fifth studio album Balls to the Wall (1983), which is the band's only album to be certified gold in the United States and Canada, and spawned their well-known hit "Balls to the Wall".
Accept have broken up and reformed multiple times. They first split up in 1989, several months after the release of Eat the Heat (which was their only album with Dirkschneider's initial replacement David Reece), but reformed in 1992 and released three more albums before disbanding again in 1997. After briefly reuniting in 2005, Accept announced their third reunion in 2009, with former T.T. Quick frontman Mark Tornillo replacing Dirkschneider (who declined to participate), and the band has recorded five albums with him: Blood of the Nations (2010), Stalingrad (2012), Blind Rage (2014), The Rise of Chaos (2017) and Too Mean to Die (2021); each of those albums renewed Accept's popularity in Germany and entered the top ten charts there.

It's Hard To Find A Way
Accept Lyrics
Jump to: Overall Meaning ↴ Line by Line Meaning ↴
Our love could be real
And I tried, tried to make you feel
You and me have a chance
We tried to understand
Promises have to be kept
But it's only a game
But I just found the first little cut
And I wonder why, oh God, but so what
It's hard to understand, and find a way
To give you all my life
Hard to understand, and hard to say
To give you all my life
Well, I pretend tonight
Our life is alright
But I feel the weakness now
Of living with a lie
I'm acting sweetness
But I'm burning in hate
'Cause I can't stand you hurting me
The same way I hurt you
But I just found the first little cut
And I wonder why, oh God, but so what
It's hard to understand, and find a way
To give you all my life
Hard to understand, and hard to say
To give you all my life
It's hard to understand, and find a way
To give you all my life
Hard to understand, so hard to say
To give you all my life
It's hard to understand, and find a way
Hard to understand, to understand
Hard to understand, you and me have a chance
To give you all my life
I'm burning in hate 'cause it's just a game
To give you all my life
It's hard to understand, so hard to understand
To give you all my life
Hard to understand, so hard to say
To give you all my life
The lyrics to the song "It's Hard To Find A Way" by Accept/DEAFFY discuss the struggles and complexities of a romantic relationship. The song portrays the effort that both partners put into trying to make their love work, but ultimately, they find it challenging to understand each other and find a way to make things work. The beginning of the song depicts the optimism and the initial attempts of trying to make the relationship work. However, as the song progresses, the lyrics reveal the apprehension and reservations towards this relationship. The lines "But I'm burning in hate 'cause I can't stand you hurting me the same way I hurt you" suggest that both partners are experiencing difficulty in the relationship and are struggling with feelings of guilt.

@septemberfire Only Ac/DC suck ass and are cringey as fuck. Accept though are timeless. This music still holds it's own without the 80's cheese factor most bands used.
