Abrasif, tu connais mon crew : Une anthologie
The lyrics of Akhenaton's song Akh are a reflection on the art of rap and its various components. The song starts with the artist explaining the concept of "AKH," which refers to the science of rhyme, and how people often wonder what lies behind the words and symbols in his lyrics. He then goes on to describe the letters A, K, and H and how they relate to his personal experiences and artistic expression.
The letter A in the song represents the artist's memories of waiting for the school bus and listening to music on his Walkman. He also refers to his early attempts at graffiti art, which were not very successful, but which eventually led him to find his voice in rap music. The letter K, on the other hand, represents the artist's identity as a rebel and outsider in the music industry. He speaks of his struggles as a young rapper and the obstacles he had to overcome to make it in the business. Finally, the letter H symbolizes the artist's commitment to the art of rap, his love for the genre, and his determination to succeed in the face of adversity.
Overall, Akhenaton's lyrics in Akh are a testament to the power of rap music as a form of artistic expression and social commentary. Through his words, the artist offers a glimpse into the complexity of the art form and the personal experiences that shape the messages behind the music.
