He started as the main vocalist, guitarist and keyboardist of the pop band Teleradio Donoso in 2005, releasing two records from that year until their split in 2009.

With Teleradio Donoso's breakup, Alex started to record tracks with a clear different style, without guitars and with a strong use of synthetizers. The project called «Odisea» finally releases its record in August 2010, with «Cabros» being its first promotional single.

In September 2011, Alex Anwandter releases a new single called «Tatuaje», this time abandoning his «Odisea» pseudonym and using his real name. On October 26th, 2011, Anwandter releases «Rebeldes», his second solo album and first one released with his real name.
