She was born in Granada in 1970. At 16 years of age Amparo had her first band, Correcaminos. From then, she had been occasionally involved with other Blues, Jazz, Rock'n'roll and Soul music groups as a singer. It was the music of the blacks that gave her the air to breathe. Lee Brillaux of Dr. Feelgood called her ‘the white women with the soul of a black never stop singing’.
She released her last album "La vida te da" at the beginning of 2006.
Siempre
Amparanoia Lyrics

y la fiesta canta verbena
no hay amor sin dolor
siempre prisa lenta que no espera
y que nadie vea tu pena
saca la fuerza del corazon
naranananarana.....
siempre madrugadas de charanga
la vida hecha cancion
siempre el que roba se lo queda
pero en sus manos quema
sera pobre en su interior
javivi, no me hagas danio, javivi
sufro si pienso tu nombre javivi
siempre esta por llegar
siempre lo que va a pasar
The lyrics of Amparanoia's song "Siempre" talk about the paradoxical nature of life. The singer talks about how the siren always cries sadly and how the party sings a lively song. This indicates that the world is full of contradictions, and it isn't always what it seems. The next line states that there is no love without pain, which emphasizes the fact that everything in life comes with a price. The singer then talks about how time is always rushing but still takes its own time, and nobody can see the pain we feel. However, the solution to overcoming this is by finding strength in our hearts.
The next part of the lyrics talk about how life is a never-ending celebration, but a thief always takes away what we have. The last line of this part repeats that the person who steals will remain poor internally. In the latter part of the song, the lyrics focus on the character called "Javivi." The singer implores Javivi not to hurt her and how much she suffers when she thinks of him. The last line of the song talks about how things will always happen, and what will happen next is always around the corner.
