El Bosque Encantado
Antonio Orozco Lyrics

Jump to: Overall Meaning ↴  Line by Line Meaning ↴

Overall Meaning

The lyrics of Antonio Orozco's "El Bosque Encantado" paint a picture of a utopian-like life where the singer is in a profile of life where they can feel the breath of their loved one. In exchange for a star and the image of their loved one, they let go of their dreams. The singing of the fairies from the enchanted forest breaks them from the inside, and the star that they have been gifted with uncovers their depths to make them belong more to the lucero (bright star). They don't know if they are walking through the forest or anywhere else as they get lost in the finality of their lover's eyes, as they are enraptured by their beloved.

The second verse involves being entangled with their loved one throughout the day and confusing the plants. The singing of the forest's fairies from the enchanted forest affects the singer deeply, breaking them from the inside. The lucero becomes more a part of the singer, uncovering more of who they are to make them belong more to the star. The chorus repeats with the meaning that wherever the singer walks, they will get lost in their loved one's eyes. They ask their lover to love them, and they have obtained their lover back as their guide in their life.
