Kolabo dwóch światów sielanka ulica i trochę rapu
Super sprawa ziomuś ja tam wracam spać do domu
Chcę znaleźć czas joker nie as
Farbowane koty
The lyrics of Arab's song "Jiu-jitsu" delve into themes of self-improvement, resilience, and staying true to oneself in the face of challenges and criticism. The repetitive lines "Oni do mnie 'mordo mordo jak ci idzie mata'" (They ask me 'how's your ground game?') and the response "A ja do nich 'mordo mordo nauczyłem się padać'" (And I say to them 'I've learned how to fall') suggest a metaphorical comparison between the singer's proficiency in Brazilian Jiu-jitsu and his ability to navigate the obstacles in life. Through the juxtaposition of martial arts terminology with personal growth, the lyrics convey a message of perseverance and adaptability in the face of adversity.
The subsequent lines highlight the singer's journey in the rap industry, where he has faced doubts and criticism from others regarding his skills. The exchanges "mordo mordo jak ci idzie w rapach" (how are your rap skills?) and the defiant response "mordo mordo nauczyłem się latać" (I've learned how to fly) illustrate his determination to soar above expectations and excel in his craft. The use of vivid imagery, such as "Krztuszą zawiścią się jak fiutem w gardle" (They choke with envy like a dick in their throats), paints a picture of the jealousy and negativity the singer encounters as he strives for success.
The lyrics also touch upon the competitive nature of the music industry, where artists often face backlash and scrutiny from their peers. Lines like "Jakby ich życiową misją było ci naharać w kaszkę" (As if their life mission was to fuck you up good) and "Jak uda ci się zabłysnąć to się kurwy marszczą jak naplet" (If you manage to shine, they frown like foreskins) draw attention to the challenges and obstacles that come with pursuing a career in music. Despite these obstacles, the singer remains focused on honing his skills and making a name for himself through his lyrical prowess and dedication to his craft.
Towards the end of the song, the lyrics shift towards a reflective tone, where the singer emphasizes the importance of staying true to oneself and living a fulfilling life. The references to martial arts ("Mam więcej combosów niż Yoshimitsu kręcę flow" - I have more combos than Yoshimitsu, I spin my flow) and personal growth ("Tu czarny pas to biały pas co nigdy nie powiedział pass" - Here, a black belt is the white belt who never said pass) serve as metaphors for resilience, adaptability, and continuous self-improvement. Overall, the song "Jiu-jitsu" carries a powerful message of perseverance, resilience, and staying true to oneself in the face of adversity, making it a compelling anthem for those navigating the challenges of life and the music industry.
