1. An independent electronic music project created in Vermont, USA by Tyler Shaw in early 2011.
Being skilled in music theory after 8 years of violin lessons and teaching himself how to play the guitar, he created his first EP, Never Say Forever, using the digital audio workstation GarageBand, but removed it later, due to his lacking production skills at the time.
After switching from GarageBand to FL Studio and figuring out how to use it, he released his debut album, Reflections Of A Dream, in December 2011.
Before the release, he asked the indie musician Yoav Landau, better known as The Living Tombstone, to remix one of the songs on his debut. Landau agreed and shortly after the remix was uploaded on YouTube, Shaw's fanbase began to grow.
As of September 2019 his discography consists of 11 full-length studio albums, 1 TV-Show based album, 10 EPs, 5 remix albums, 2 soundtrack albums, 2 compilation albums, and 22 singles, as well as a number of free-to-download songs on YouTube and SoundCloud under the name 'Aviators'.
His most recent 12th studio album, titled 'The Cinematic Future', released March 6, 2020.

Red Water Dreams
Aviators Lyrics
Jump to: Overall Meaning ↴ Line by Line Meaning ↴
Where the river meets the sea
Let the memory of rising tide
Come washing over me
I saw fire consume the trusting
With the victims still naive
And so they bleed
And so they bleed
Where false gods reside in peace
Let them wither from the inside
Watch their adoration cease
Now with no more heroes left
To cull the chaff among the streets
The gates release
The gates release
Sing in grief, a requiem
The curse of our millennium
These souls keep whispering from the river beds
The end to all these violent means
Alive in these red water dreams
Their haunted burdens stirring in my head
On streets still running red
Vicious thoughts are stirring
And I hunger for their power
Just to taste the opportunity
To watch the elders cower
When the waters fall below the ruins
They'll see their final hour
But rain still showers
The rain still showers
Take me as the vessel
To infect the whole charade
I've come much too far to accept
This society they've made
In the corner of the wasteland
Under storms of acid rain
The last remain
The last remain
Sing in grief, a requiem
The curse of our millennium
These souls keep whispering from the river beds
The end to all these violent means
Alive in these red water dreams
Their haunted burdens stirring in my head
On streets still running red
On streets still running red
Most went in the flood
A few were martyred by the flames
Yet those who unleashed the waters
Are still guilty all the same
When the ignorance of puppets
Serves the master's larger game
They let it rain
They let it rain
When I gain the chance to rise
I'll find the light in their cold eyes
Or lose myself and carry out revenge
The righteous hunt has just begun
The dimming of the bleeding sun
Will let these waters run clear once again
Sing in grief, a requiem
The curse of our millennium
These souls keep whispering from the river beds
The end to all these violent means
Alive in these red water dreams
Their haunted burdens stirring in my head
On streets still running red
In "Red Water Dreams," Aviators sings about a dystopian society that has been destroyed by a flood or flames, and how the survivors are dealing with the aftermath. The singer wants to be taken to a place where they can be surrounded by water, to recall the memory of the rising tide. The lyrics suggest that there were victims of the disaster who were still naive enough to trust in false gods and, as a result, were consumed by fire. The singer believes that the gates of this society, with no heroes left to save it, should release and/or fall. They also sing a requiem for the souls who died in the disaster, and describe them as haunted beings who stir in their head.
The song also delves into the darker thoughts of the singer who is interested in gaining power and wants to prove their worth by making the elder's cower. They seem angry at society for accepting the way things are, and yearn to "infect the whole charade." The song concludes with the singer contemplating whether they want to find the light in the cold eyes of those who allowed the disaster to happen or carry out revenge.
As for the music video, it features a young girl who lost her family in the disaster wandering through the now deserted, destroyed city, struggling to come to terms with her trauma.

Take me to the water
I want to go to where the river meets the sea
Where the river meets the sea

Let the memory of rising tide
Help me remember the feeling of the water rising
Come washing over me
Let me feel the water wash over me
I saw fire consume the trusting
I witnessed naive people get destroyed by fire
With the victims still naive
The people harmed were innocent and unaware
And so they bleed
They are hurt and bleeding
Take me to the tower
Take me to where the false gods reside
Where false gods reside in peace
The place where those who are considered gods live and are content
Let them wither from the inside
Let them deteriorate from within
Watch their adoration cease
Observe as people stop worshiping them
Now with no more heroes left
There are no more admirable people remaining
To cull the chaff among the streets
To remove the less important people of society
The gates release
The floodgates are opened
Sing in grief, a requiem
Mourn and lament
The curse of our millennium
The bad circumstances of our time
These souls keep whispering from the river beds
The spirits of the dead speak softly from the river bottoms
The end to all these violent means
The cessation of all violent actions
Alive in these red water dreams
The memories of the bloody waters still haunt me
Their haunted burdens stirring in my head
The weight of their memories weighs on my mind
On streets still running red
On the roads where there is still bloodshed
Vicious thoughts are stirring
Dangerous ideas are brewing
And I hunger for their power
I crave the ability to act on those thoughts
Just to taste the opportunity
To experience the chance to do those things
To watch the elders cower
To see those in charge become afraid
When the waters fall below the ruins
When the water level goes down below what has been destroyed
They'll see their final hour
Then it will be their time to meet their end
But rain still showers
It still continues to rain
Take me as the vessel
Make me the instrument
To infect the whole charade
To spread my influence throughout the entire facade
I've come much too far to accept
I have progressed too much to be satisfied with the current situation
This society they've made
This society that has been created
In the corner of the wasteland
In some desolate location
Under storms of acid rain
During heavy rain that is acidic
The last remain
The few people who still exist
Sing in grief, a requiem
Mourn and lament
The curse of our millennium
The bad circumstances of our time
These souls keep whispering from the river beds
The spirits of the dead speak softly from the river bottoms
The end to all these violent means
The cessation of all violent actions
Alive in these red water dreams
The memories of the bloody waters still haunt me
Their haunted burdens stirring in my head
The weight of their memories weighs on my mind
On streets still running red
On the roads where there is still bloodshed
Most went in the flood
Many were lost in the flood
A few were martyred by the flames
A small number of people were killed by fire
Yet those who unleashed the waters
But those who caused the flood
Are still guilty all the same
Are still responsible for their actions
When the ignorance of puppets
When those who are easily controlled
Serves the master's larger game
Serve the plans of those in charge
They let it rain
They allow the flood to happen
When I gain the chance to rise
When I have the opportunity to succeed
I'll find the light in their cold eyes
I'll see the spark of humanity in the eyes of those who oppress me
Or lose myself and carry out revenge
Or become consumed by vengeance and seek to harm those who wronged me
The righteous hunt has just begun
The search for justice has only just started
The dimming of the bleeding sun
The fading of the red, setting sun
Will let these waters run clear once again
Will allow the water to become clean once more
