If you come back, if you come back to us
If you come back, if you come back to us
We are the creators, we are the creators we are a thousand worlds
All the dark doors all the dark doors.
Even though they even though never stopped us
Even though they even though never stopped us
We are the creators
We can overcome
Bring the empire, down to my feet
Bring the empire, down to my feet
We are the creators, we are
Bring the empire, down to my feet
Bring the empire, down to my feet
We are the creators, we are
Blanc rooms blanc places
Black souls black faces
Your lucks is what you needed not what you wanted
Your lucks is what you needed not what you wanted
Cold inside in your head
Blue blood fills your veins
The throne is waiting
The throne is waiting
The throne is waiting for you, oh.
Bring the empire, down to my feet
Bring the empire, down to my feet
We are the creators, we are
Bring the empire, down to my feet
Bring the empire, down to my feet
We are the creators, we are
We are the creators, we are the creators
We are.
Flow flow like the water don't let them stop you
Theres no time to be distracted by commotion
Hear the run reckless leaders are in motion
Oh brave boy don't let them eat up that emotion
The sun fills my steps with power,
my lungs spread out to holler louder
The pyramid is falling apart cause of corruption
But kneeling myself is not an option
Bring the empire, down to my feet
Bring the empire, down to my feet
We are the creators, we are
Bring the empire, down to my feet
Bring the empire, down to my feet
We are the creators, we are
The lyrics of Budaya's song "Empire" portray a message of resilience and strength in the face of adversity. The opening lines suggest that the wind symbolizes communication between two people, and the singer has received a message of subdued emotions from someone dear to them. The following lines convey a sense of hopefulness and determination, urging the person to return to the fold and join forces with "the creators," who represent creativity, imagination, and progress. The repetition of "we can overcome" emphasizes the tenacity of the human spirit and the capacity to surmount all obstacles.
In the latter half of the song, the lyrics get more confrontational and critical of those who seek to undermine the creators. The phrase "blanc rooms, blanc places" could refer to an emptiness of purpose and soulless environments where people feel lost and disconnected. The black souls and faces might represent those who are envious or resentful of the creators' power and influence. The line "your lucks is what you needed not what you wanted" suggests that sometimes people need to recognize what is essential and valuable in their lives rather than chasing superficial desires.
Overall, "Empire" is a song that celebrates the human spirit's resilience and creativity in the face of adversity. It is a call to action for people to unite and work together to overcome obstacles and create a better world.
