Born to a large impoverished family, Dion emerged as a teen star in the French-speaking world after her manager and future husband René Angélil mortgaged his home to finance her first record. In 1990, she released the anglophone album Unison, establishing herself as a viable pop artist in North America and other English-speaking areas of the world.
Dion had first gained international recognition in the 1980s by winning both the 1982 Yamaha World Popular Song Festival and the 1988 Eurovision Song Contest.Following a series of French albums in the early 1980s, she signed on to CBS Records Canada in 1986. During the 1990s, with the help of Angélil, she achieved worldwide fame after signing with Epic Records and releasing several English albums along with additional French albums, becoming one of the most successful artists in pop music history. However, in 1999 at the height of her success, Dion announced a temporary retirement from entertainment in order to start a family and spend time with her husband, who had been diagnosed with cancer. She returned to the top of pop music in 2002 and signed a three-year (later extended to almost five years) contract to perform nightly in a five-star theatrical show at the Colosseum at Caesars Palace, Las Vegas.
After performing in 25 countries during the Taking Chances World Tour which ended in February 2009 (one year after it began) she took another 2 year hiatus, focusing on expanding her family. After 6 in-vitro tries she gave birth to twin boys Nelson and Eddy in October 2010. In the meantime she announced her return to Vegas, her new show simply named "Céline" premièred on March 15th 2011 to spectacular reviews by media and audience.
Dion's music has been influenced by genres ranging from rock and R&B to gospel and classical. While her releases have often received mixed critical reception, she is renowned for her technically skilled and powerful vocals. Dion is the best selling Canadian artist of all time; and her album D'eux is the best selling francophone album of all time. Dion is regarded as one of pop music's most influential voices. Linda Lister describes Dion as a reigning Queen of Pop for her influence over the record industry during the 1990s. On a cultural level, Dion is credited for introducing francophone music to many non-francophone countries around the globe. Dion is also credited for both revitalizing and revolutionizing the entertainment scene in Las Vegas with the gargantuan successes of her residencies there. She managed to re-popularize the Las Vegas "residency" as a desirable way for top artists to essentially tour in place, letting their fans come to them. Over the years, fellow established icons such as Britney Spears, Elton John, Bette Midler, Rod Stewart, Cher and Shania Twain followed suit.

The song "Je ne suis pas celle" by Celine Dion is a reflective piece that talks about the singer's true identity in contrast with what people perceive her to be. This translates to: "I am not the one that the lights illuminate/I am not the one who changes with time." These lines suggest that despite being a public figure and constantly under the spotlight, the singer has managed to maintain her true self and values. She continues in the next line: "Et si malgré tout je suis restée la même/C'est pour approcher mes rêves d'enfant." This translates to: "And if, despite everything, I have remained the same/It is to reach my childhood dreams." This line conveys that the singer has not let fame or success steer her away from the dreams she had as a child, which she still holds dear.
In the following verse, the singer talks about the things she wanted to do before her lover (addressed in the song) left her. This translates to: "I wanted just one man to dance with/I wanted to sing to enchant/I wanted nights longer than days/Before you left, I always wanted." These lines express the singer's longing for someone to share her life with and her desire to pursue her passions before it was too late. In the second half of the verse, the singer talks about her aspirations of having a fireplace, a big bed to sleep in, and teaching children happiness and love.
The chorus serves as a declaration from the singer that the perception people have about her is not entirely accurate. This translates to: "I am not the one you think/I am not that person, listen to me/I am not the one you see/You have to believe that what people say about me is not true/I am not that girl." These lines assert that the singer is much more complex and multi-dimensional than what people assume about her.

English translation:
Lord, make me an instrument of your peace.
Where there is hatred, let me bring love.
Where there is offense, let me bring pardon.
Where there is discord, let me bring union.
Where there is error, let me bring truth.
Where there is doubt, let me bring faith.
Where there is despair, let me bring hope.
Where there is darkness, let me bring your light.
Where there is sadness, let me bring joy.
O Master, let me not seek as much
to be consoled as to console,
to be understood as to understand,
to be loved as to love,
for it is in giving that one receives,
it is in self-forgetting that one finds,
it is in pardoning that one is pardoned,
it is in dying that one is raised to eternal life.
I am nothing, therefore, I might be everything. Isn't the human experience most unusual? I support our Medical community Globally and care so much about Healthcare. Music is such a comfort, especially Celine Dion. https://www.linkedin.com/pulse/physician-burnout-dr-robert-pearl-fred-khan-hardenhart-hart-/

it is our heart that speaks to the world if we listen to ourselves and express this clearly. The world listens to God's love always. With this you can not fail
