I figured that was the point where if he wasn't loyal in ME2, he'd die in ME3? Like if Zaeed's not loyal and survives ME2, he dies during the Korlack side mission in 3.

If you let the breeder/Queen go in ME3, the outcome differs depending on your choice in ME1. Saved the Queen: The rachni will arrive to help the people at the Crucible. Destroyed the Queen: The 'rachni' that arrive to 'help' go berserk and kill many of the Crucible personnel before being taken down.

The scene with Grunt was one of the most epic scenes for me. I know that Mass effect 3 will be full of those moments and it I loved it. The only thing I didnt like about the endings was the destruction of the mass relays. I can deal with everything else.

@HeeroYuy911 It matters for Grunt and a few other characters I believe. If Grunt isn't loyal he dies when he tackles that one reaper creature off the ledge. Loyal though he lives. I think those deaths can only happen if you pick default shepard. But if you use a import things should be okay.

I never pulled the trigger myself. It was Ashley whenever I couldn't reason with him. The first time I played, it caught me so off guard that I had to stop playing for a few hours to mellow out. And that was the story of how I didn't even hesitate to leave Ash on my first play-through.

@rosenrot234 Strange I did not know loyalty had anything to do with ME3, All my import games I finished with all squad members every game all loyal so >.> lol But it would seem like only Grunt takes loyalty into account then? Miranda will die if you do not let her have the alliance resources she wants so that's based on choice not loyalty so what else uses it?

@HeeroYuy911 Well the first time you're watching it you don't know if he's going to live. That music is just near perfect "Dying" music. This happens after you lose Mordin and Thane so it feels like "oh no not again". Least if Grunts loyal he lives.
