Mach's gut
Clueso Lyrics
Jump to: Overall Meaning ↴ Line by Line Meaning ↴
unbezwungene berge
alles klein was sich sonst groß versteht
The song "Mach's gut" by Clueso talks about the transience of life and the fleeting nature of human connections. The first verse describes two strangers who briefly interacted while waiting at the same gate at an airport. It highlights the idea that people come and go in our lives, and sometimes, we share a moment with them before moving on to different destinations. The lyrics of the song acknowledge that we are all just temporary visitors on this planet, and that it is essential to cherish every moment we get with the people we meet.
The second verse of the song uses metaphorical language to describe the vastness and beauty of the world. The image of the earth below and the soaring, wingless bird showcases the diversity and depth of the world around us. The song implies that even though our lives are short and transitory, the world will continue to thrive despite our absence. It speaks of the significance of leaving a positive legacy and making the most of the time we have on this planet.
In summary, "Mach's gut" is an introspective song that encourages the listeners to live in the moment and appreciate the essential things in life. It puts forward the idea that connections are short-lived, but memories and experiences can last forever.
