(1) Born to Puerto Rican parents in New York City, Corina Katt Ayala recorded her first Freestyle hit, Out of Control, while still in College. This was followed up with a string of increasingly successful dance singles, one of which, 1991's Temptation, peaked at #6 on the U.S. Billboard Top 100 charts. Also in 1991, her self titled debut album was released on Atco Records.
Ayala has also appeared in a small number of movies, most recently 2005's Fortunes.

Odata cu albumui IMI PLACE …TOT !, Corina a inceput ore de coregrafie avandu-l drept profesor pe CRBL de la Simplu si sa se pregateasca intens pentru concertele ce vor urma.
Schimbarea nu a venit fara munca. Multa munca de studio pentru pregatirea albumului, ore lungi de coregrafie, filmarea, deloc usoara a unui videoclip in luna decembrie (pe 24 decembrie mai exact) , la aproape -15 grade Celsius.
In toamna anului 2005 Corina a lansat cel de-al doilea single de pe albumul IMI PLACE …TOT, “Fara tine”. “Fara tine” s-a bucurat de un mare succes in randul ascultatorilor de radio iar clipul a rulat saptamani intregi pe Tv.

Was just at a freestyle concert today on Staten Island, NY...didn't know the full lineup until they were announced...well Lulu & Lala mentioned "Temptation" and I said Corina?? Lo & behold, there she was, amazing & smoking performer with a sense of humour, self-deprecating, keeping it real, curse words & everything...can't take the South Bronx out of the girl...she went through some tough breakups...I'd date her in a heartbeat...
