@ShadowMewssacre I kinda think returns is nit what it could be, it gives the vibes of a buildup for the show throughout the whole thing, but that's it... Basically a song about "oooohhh, they approaching, spoopy" when they probably could have just made it avout oassing a second time, maybe even ending with something along the lines of "next time we'll get you", either leaving with the knowledge of the show returning forever until they have you or forever in general. Or teasing about a part three if they have a good idea for it. Still I like the song, despite feeling like it's a bit of wasted potential.

Jason My Dreams Rufus Rex is Curtis’s one-off solo project, only ever planned to have one album as far as I’m aware. Erik however is “busy” and that’s as much as we know. The last song he worked on was Here There Be Witches in 2014.

Honestly, this song gives me vibes of a vampire and a vampire hunter who both know exactly what the other is but don’t think the other does so they continue the song (heh) and dance of being friends while ultimately planning how they’ll end the other, with the vampire either killing the hunter and draining their blood or turning them into a vampire themselves (less likely, but hey, I’m a sucker for agnsty tales), and the hunter by killing them in one manner or another.
But the opportunity never presents itself for either party.
Until this moment, here and now, and it becomes a matter of who cracks first and finally ends it all, becoming the one who needs to “bury a friend”.

@GamingAnimators Can’t remember, something about how the original song “antagonises mental illness” by alluding to suicide with the “I wanna end me” line and acting like Creature Feature is more “woke” for changing the line. It’s stupid because in their other songs like Such Horrible Things, Buried Alive, Bad Blood, A Feast for the Worms, etc Curtis is literally begging for death, like how is that not also alluding to suicide lol. I think he changed the line from “end me” to “end you” to fit more with the title, Bury a Friend, because it’s like he’s plotting to murder someone, not for any “woke” reason and it certainly doesn’t demean Billie’s original, it’s just his own interpretation of her song

This is incredible as always! Just a thought,but could you guys do a cover album of Nightmare before Christmas, a cover of the beetlejuice theme ( add lyrics if you want) and/or a cover of spellbound by lacuna coil or cast a spell on you by hex girls from Scooby doo. Again,you guys are amazing and I can’t wait to see what you put out next
